Well, since I posted up some like 6 years ago, my list has changed quite a bit. So, here's how it stands now~

10. Weiß Kreuz - Plenty of blood and violence, awesome OP, and a decent enough story. I'm not sure that it really deserves a place in my top ten, but I honestly couldn't think of another series I could put in its place.

9. Zero no Tsukaima - Having had a girlfriend who was very much like Louise in temperament, watching ZnT is somewhat cathartic for me; at the same time as I empathize with Saito, I feel I know exactly how he should have dealt with each situation that comes up~

8. Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien - Touching, emotional story about a guy and his comatose girlfriend; one of few anime that made me cry and a solid 10/10 in my books.

7. Saber Marionette J - The series that started it all. It's been a lot of years since I saw it, but without SMJ I wouldn't be an anime fan today; so of course it deserves a place in here.

6. Spice and Wolf - Medieval businessmen, wolf gods, and shepherds. Light on action but deep in character development and simple, pleasant interaction~ Plus, Horo is awesome sexy.

5. Clannad - As a longtime Key fan, one of their series had to be in here. Since Clannad was easily the most emotional and touching series of the lot, and if ya count in After Story I can safely say I shed a few tears on its account.

4. Outlaw Star - Seihou Bukyou Outlaw Star. While it's not the series with the most depth, class, or the best action, it's been a solid good watch since the first day I saw it, and it's never gotten boring even after 8 years.

3. Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai - Awesome, awesome series about an average guy and his popular, smart, athletic, teen-model little sister... who happens to be a closet otaku. Plenty of fun to be had here, and that's not even mentioning Kuroneko.

2. Slayers - Here's a special one. High fantasy swords and sorcery to start ye off, and chock full of good times, big explosions, HUGE meals, and jokes about the bust If ye haven't watched Slayers yet, there is something wrong with you. Us real fans waited 11 years to see more of this~

1. Shakugan no Shana - And the best of the bunch, Shakugan no Shana. This is it, boys~ You got your action, your slice of life, your humour, and your dark themes. s'been around long enough now I hope I don't have to sum it up for anyone, but it's not over yet~ there's at least one more TV series on the way here~
