Toyota Love?

Geez, it's like those racers in Japan can't get enough of Toyota! LOL.

Has anyone really noticed that a lot of the cars portrayed are Toyotas? And Nissans?

Toyota-side has the 86, 85, 85 Turbo Levin, 2 MR2s, an Altezza (IS300)...

Nissans have 2 S13s (one is modified with a 180SX front), S15, Skylines...

There's only been three hondas, though those three are the likely ones anyway. Still, it would have been nice to actually see the Integra Type R race. Can't wait to actually see an S2000 (AP-1) though!

Anyway, does anyone feel a type of prejudice to the cars? Then again, the other heavyleague hitters usually have one SUPER racer. The Emperors have the EVO-III, Bunta has his STi, etc...

But, yeah, why do you think both Initial D and OverRev (another race manga, the main car is a older MR2) has an oversaturation of Toyotas?

Personally, I'd love to see an Volvo S40 there.......
