They got a preview rolling yet? I remember the last one coming out almost a year before the movie came out.

I thought it was called Revenge of the Fallen.

I didn't say much for a storyline which is a little disappointing. But its not like people won't go myself included. I read a little that the Decepticons need to capture Sam Witwicky for information he knows about the origins of Transformers and their history on Earth.

Who is that really big guy with the one wheel?

And there are the animal ones *squeals*

There was a scorpion one in the last movie. It wouldn't surprise me if they had something similar in this one.

That was the most eclectic, and clunky preview I've seen in a while. Start and stop, start and stop, start and stop, it never gets going and runs with it.

I think the movie will be fun, but the preview definitely sucks.

    Saw it. Luv it.

I ended up watching both movies with my sister who has yet to see them.

The twins, Mudflap and Skids, are funny.

Peter Cullen the voice actor for Optimus did KARR from Knight Rider. Eeyore. AND a bunch of old ones. Then there is Hugo Weaving who did Voltron who was V and in the Lord of the Rings as Elrond. So neat.

Anyway... Was there The Fallen like in the comics or cartoon? and the specialness of the Primes?

If you can overlook the large plot holes in this movies, the feeling of unfulliment that leave you sitting in your seat as the credits roll thinking "Is that all?" and the lack of fluidity. You'll love this movie.

I personally thought it was just an alright way to pass time, but had I known how I would have felt at the end I would have just watched it online and not wasted the ten bucks.

One of my boys told me something interesting about X-formers. As a Michael Bay movie, with lots of explosions, great stunts and special effects, it's a great movie. As a "movie" movie, it sucks (you know, plot, storyline, character development, writing). So I guess it depends on what you were looking for when you went in to watch it.

It's like when talking about a game you say "oh it's good for the Wii", but then if you compare it to the big boys it turns into crap.

Set your expectations low for this one, and you won't be disappointed ^^

(I did, and it was pleasant)

I thought it was very boring.
The end scene was about the largest highlight of the movie and I still was forcing myself to sit and watch it.

As far as I heard, this ruined Michael Bay. It made him tired of explosions. :3

Strange people. I liked a lot. Lots of action. And the chick as a transformer awesome. Animals ones too. Maybe I just like seeing things blow up a lot and woman go all crazy.

That might explain why I was cheering at the races when there was a 11 car pile up. No one got hurt.

Optimus Prime owned in that movie. End of story! Loved it. You know that part where it zooms out and you go to a different planet full of decepticons .. At first you like see a big black thing and my friend talks in movies constantly so she screams "WTF IS THAT?" and i'm glad "Dude, your mom." Everyone in theatre almost pissed themselves because it was so quiet and they heard. it.

Considering that this is a Michael Bay film, that was probably the highpoint of the entire picture.

    Explosions are good.

    Raping childhood memories is not.

I wouldn't say they raped childhood memories. When we were kids we watched Optimus Prime fight Decepticons. Now that we're adults, we're watching Optimus Prime fighting Decepticons. The only raping is that of our wallet when Michael Bay convinced us to shell out money for a movie that had the same plot devices as the cartoon series over 20 years ago. Needless to say, our tastes have matured since then, and nostalgia isn't what it used to be.
