If they were to make Romeo and Juliet or any other Shakespere play into on anime then do you think that they should keep the dialouge in the old tounge or put in a modern day text like they did for 10 Thing I Hate About You.

Cause i find it really hard to follow the story when they speak like they do in the plays and wouldn't mind seeing them reworked. And all Shakespere fans please don't bomb my house for this suggestion

If a modernization is done well, I rather like it. West Side Story was kickin', and Strange Brew took Hamlet in a direction I never thought possible ;). I just hate to see garbage like Baz Luhrman (spelling on that last name unknown)'s Romeo and Juliet. Of course, considering what I said earlier about translation, I think we'd all prefer if they modernized things so we could bypass any problems.

One Piece is a pirate anime [of sorts]. Anyway Raging Bull would be interesting maybe Seven Samurai [I'm sure it's probably been done already though] and for my final choice Ghost World [only cos I'd like to see what Thora Birch would look like as an anime character.]

Fight Club would be fun to see, but ultimately I would prefer to see an Underworld anime. I would think that'd be pretty sweet.

Fight Club: Yeah, I think so. I once described this movie to UrashimaKeitaro and YokoburiKinura as "a live action anime." Deep thoughts, funny, dark, and something that comes out of left field and surprises you.

It would have to be done right though, if it focused purely on the fighting like so many of its fans, it would miss the point.

You must have seen a different ending than I did :D I've been addicted to The Pixies ever since.

Reservior Dogs, 21 Grams, The City of Gods, ScarFace, Seven Samurais, Leon? These could become some pretty neat anime.

I think The Secret Garden would be a good anime. Pollyanna would be a good one too.

    Agreed

I totally agree on the Black Hawk Down idea. That would be really sweet. Especially if you got Mamoru Oshii of Patlabor and Ghost in the Shell fame.

As for my personal pick, I'd love to see the entire Aliens series as anime and of course The Fifth Element.
