    I was in a rut. It doesn't even rythme! :p

    "What I know"

    I can perfectly recall,
    What your face looks like,
    When you were sitting next to me today.
    The fluency of your motions,
    What features I’d see,
    Just as if I was right there again.

    I cannot remember;
    My homework,
    Or that I need to do the dishes.
    But I can imagine any move you’d make.

    It seems strange,
    What my mind actually focuses on.
    I can see the plaster of the light socket,
    And the shadow thrown against it,
    By the corner of the wall.

    I cannot notice;
    What the inside of a cell looks like,
    Or the trig. Ratio for my test.
    But I can notice an electrical outlet on the wall.
    (Which was right by your shoe, if you cared)

    I notice how much it hurts,
    And how I still feel alone.
    I notice that I’m not single,
    And that I was never happy.
    I notice how I used to be,
    Before I met you.
    And how I used to be loquacious,
    And how I used to look forward to seeing,
    Only you and Sam the next day.

    I do not pay attention;
    To how it will break me in the end,
    How irritated it makes me,
    When you talk to your friends.
    Or how I can’t smile,
    Or how I can’t laugh,
    Or how you are always there telling the truth,
    And yet you lie.

    But I know.

    Wow. The very end with the "I know" kinda knocked me off a bit. I liked it. It takes a good writer to write without ryhming <3
