What is tag cloud...

When you're creating a thread, there's a tags field - you fill in some keywords there, seperated by commas.

It's almost like a virtual forum, because you can then browse all threads with that tag.

Let's say I create threads about Love Hina on Music, Anime and Art and tag them with lovehina - then you'll see the threads across all the forums when you click on the tag in the tag cloud (or at the top of a thread).

Looking forward to seeing more uses of this!

 

All tagged topics seem to get collected into the main boardtracker site, meaning if everything was properly tagged, we'd more or less be catalogued with a sort of board directory/search engine.

I wonder if we could leverage this in some way to solve some of the categorization issues the team has been brainstorming over...
