What is this shade of green?
A monster bitter and mean
Coiling up for the strike
You went off, leaving me all alone
I was glad you found happiness
But still I cried late at night
You had each other but
You took away some one
I had loved once and forever
There was no one to hold me
No voice there to comfort me
What is the shade...

...of envy?​

What is this hue of red?
Like blood waiting to be shed
An immense dislike
You are dead to me
Not even your ghost bothers to haunt me
You left to skirt the edge of fire
...To play with sin
Maybe I should be glad you're happy
Maybe I would be glad you've left
But my fairytales were shattered
I thought goddesses were stronger than me

What is the hue...

...of hatred?​

What is this tone of blue?
An emptiness with out you.
Can’t remember what it’s like.

The sound of your voice
Has left my ears with naught but
The sound of my own heart
Your face’s image no longer imprints
Upon my memory everyday
There is nobody by my side, day or night
Naught but the light breeze caresses my face
Where are you when I need you the most?

I thought this was one of the strangest poems I've read to date yet...

...and yet I think its one of the best I've seen yet

Awesome Jack. It has more feeling to it, than any of my poems. You need to post more, and don't let the emo-haters bother you either. I have found a new favorite writer! OH BOI! ^^

 

Thanks Peachy. I would post more but as of lately I haven't been writing too much.

 

Id say it's more of a hollow emeraldish color myself...I MEAN. lol
Its very deep, and it explains the feeling in a way, I myself never could comprehend the correct words for. I get writing blocks alot, hope you write more! ^^
