    Hello, (good topic!)
I'd love to own some of the rarer recordings. I'm still a bit confused as to
    which to seek out though.
    >From memory, here's what I have in my Tomita collection:

    On LP:
    Snowflakes
    Pictures
Firebird (my first Tomita recording- purchased in the 70's)
Planets (still have the poster! :)
    Kosmos
    Bermuda Trangle (pink vinyl)

    CD:
    Snowflakes
Pictures (Surround, but wish I had a better quality recording)
    Firebird
    Planets
    Kosmos

    DVD video
The Planets (sans Patrick Stewart narration)

My wish is to see some remastered Tomita releases with better quality sound.
On certain CDs, it seems that some of the synthesizer tracks got lost in the
conversion (possibly from the surround re-mixes?).

DVD audio releases (complete with video!) would be great. : )

Pictures suffered the worst. My advice is to avoid the Dolby Surround
releases and track down used copies of the original CD releases.
