Anime What was the first Anime show you saw.

my first was Sailor Moon on Cartoonnetwork.
i was hooked and sailor moon started me in manga too.
it was good even though it was dubbed and they never showded the sailor stars.

 

That would be in 1st grade when we watched My Neighbor Totoro

 

The first anime I ever saw was Dragon Ball. I think the series has gone down a bit though..but im still watchin the DBZ and so on @.@

 

My first anime I ever saw was Vampire Hunter D when it aired on the Sci-Fi channel in November of 1992 along with Robot Carnival and Lensman. Boy was I ever lucky for VHD to be my first anime, some people got stuck with sailor moon as their first. Not that its a bad thing.

 

I can't remember clearly now, but I think it was Galaxy Express 999. I remember that I loved it, and watched Adieu, Galaxy Express 999 when YTV aired it the following night. This was somewhere in the neighborhood of 9-10 years ago. So, I was 8-9 at the time.

I've been looking to buy it ever since, but it's so hard to find. And whenever I do, I've got no money.

Although, my first might have been Dragon Ball or Sailor Moon, as well. It's been too long to remember for sure. Back then, I had no idea they came from Japan. I just knew that they were great shows, and I wanted to see more like them.

 

My first anime was sailor moon. I was soooo obsesed with it when i was little, when i saw comercials for the sailor moon merchandise they were selling, I imediatly said i wanted all the stuff.

 

My first anime would have to have been Transfomers, Digimon, My Neighbor Totoro, or Kiki's Delivary Servance. I don't remember. I didn't know it was anime, I just thought they were cartoons with a actual story line.
The first anime I saw, knowing it was anime, would have to be Knights of the Zodiac ( the english dubbed and cut version of Saint Seiya that was on Cartoon Network. Saint Seiya is 20 times better than Knights of the Zodiac!) or Drgonball Z.

 

the one that really got me loving anime was and still is Sailor moon, It's always at the top of my list. but i've been watching anime since forever i think i was watching it when i was in the womb lol so i've seen so many.

 

I believe my first was either Gundam Wing, or Tenchi Muyo. Both were great shows.

 

Hmmm, I think it was...it was Gigi La'tratolla, Domel(white, fat, funny dog), Captain Tsubasa(oh, until now I'm remembering how they were trying to got a goal... 15 times they were acrossing the same part of field ;P) or Ulysses.
But then, i didn't know that it's something called 'anime'.
But first anime, when i knew that's 'anime' was Dragon Ball(first i had hated it, WTF with guy with monkey tail !?) and Saint Seiya.(Le Chevalie de Zodiaco - i was watching it with french dubbing[Dragon Ball too] - horrible;P)

For me, that would be BTX. Its a very old one...does anyone remember it!?

Oh yeah, that was the first one I ever saw. I was in the third grade and but a wee little girl. I was obsessed...

 

For me it was poke'mon

 

The first one I can remember is Salior Moon. I remember going out and acting like Salior Scouts and we would run around the yard and stuff. I think I was in, can't remember grade . I remember it just like it was yesterday, going out and plaing as Salior Venuse, then changes to Salior Mecury, because of something that could go along with Venuse.
Wasn't my younger childhood, awesome!
