Music Who is Your Favourite Band?

Ahem. Moi dix Mois, Dir en Grey, L'Arc~en~Ciel and a little more of Malice Mizer, and some others, if speaking of bands, that is. I haven't grew to like non-Japanese bands yet.

 

Gunna go with Simon & Garfunkel for the win.


Them, and, of course, The Smashing Pumpkins, Porcupine Tree and Dillinger Escape Plan.

Maryiln mason, black sabbath, green day, good charlotte, linkin park and belive it or not 50-cent.

 

The Used and The Exies are so freakin awesome. They are on my new good list so far

Well i 90% like electronic, and mostly dance oriented and they dont exactly have bands, well not like in pop and rock anyways. I guess the closest would be Kraftwerk, I love everthing theyve done, and I think I have just about all their stuff.

Also Orbital, LFO, Autechre and Infected Mushroom & Hallucinogen. These are mostly just 2 guys, which is about the closest you get to a "band".

Weirdly I like classic rock and 70s prog. I listen to Led Zeppelin and Yes, stuff like that is like the other 10% I listen to. I was listening to Topographic Oceans on my mp3 player this week ^^. I think I get into that because in some ways its similar to electronic and psytrance weirdness. Led Z just rock, what can you say.

I never originally got into music at all until I started digging into stuff like that, there is so much old stuff that seems more interesting to me than a lot of what is happening now, outside of club music anyway ,which i think is as good as its ever been.

 

I have a thing for Story of the Year too. I say they are tied for first too. I have trouble choosing. :sweat2:

omg, i love so many bands i have no idea what my favourite one could possibly be. I love classic rock bands and current rock bands and alternative...so many bands so little time!!!
However if *had* to choose right now, it'd probably be Nirvana..Kurt Cobain is my idol.
