    I slip slowly into slumber,
Dreams darker then the skies at the time.
Things I should never have seen,
Carry me through this forgotten night.

    Noone remembers what happens next,
As daylight streams across my cheek.
And if it's honesty that should be expelled,
Then I suppose I'll always be weak.

    I've seen what I say I have,
I've lived through hells unknown to most.
And if what happens tears down this cover-up,
Then maybe I'm not just chasing ghosts.

I'll speak when not spoken to,
And bare my teeth when offended.
    I bite back when teased
And I scream when rendered senseless.

I promise you that I'm not like the rest.
I lash out, I speak out, I fight, I make change.
And if you try to pin a label on my methods,
Each time you see me will not be the same.

Almost as though you're forgeting me,
Almost as though you're at a loss.
    You can't fight change,
No matter what is the cost.

So watch this revolution I have brewing,
Can you hear the cry of the city?
All in unison as the statues fall,
And for you Sir, they feel no pity.

[Because 6:20 am is the best time for poetry. @.@]
