Recreation What do you think of the world today?

I think that the world as a whole has been on a complete downfall in the moral department for quite some time. Doing dumb and despicable things hasn't just been a new thing in the world since WWI and WWII. There so many points in the history of every country to show we're all little more than barbarians, and still are.

Though I daresay it was a rather stupid move to bring up such a vague topic and then say you don't want to talk about it after making some bland accusation. A rather pointless comment...

 

I think the world is going to end soon. I think the people are crazy and they're kids are going to be ten times worse..The next generations are going to destroy us all if we don't destroy ourselves.

My opinion.

 

I think that one of the worst things is tha human life has become almost competly worthless. I usually get the impression that people don't really care about others well being. I know that this type ofcrap has been going on for centureyies with the like of slavery an such, bit i think it has become even more aparent now.

And i beleive what Krisis says is correct, at least judging by what its like here, I can't be to sure of what its like in other counteues since i've never been there, but a lot of the new generation are real scumbags. So this problem is only going to get worse.

The world started going downhill, in my opinion, at about the 60's. At this point in time, the world is falling apart around our ears, and Americans are going to be the first ones to feel the collapse of modern society. The human race will certainly rise again from the ashes of this era's mistakes, but what we do know determines how many cycles this planet has left. If we don't have enough time to get ourselves off of Earth permanently the next time around, the human race is royally screwed, and will probably go extinct.

 

It sucks. That is about it.

Yeah, the world sucks.

Ok, and..? Everything sucks if you want to sit and think on it.


Jobs suck, marriage sucks, kids suck, money sucks, music sucks, writing sucks, school sucks. People suck and places suck and things that occur also very much so suck.

But here is the underlying factor for all this.. Not all of this suck ALL the time. Gotta mix it up, otherwise there would be no bad days because it would be exactly the same as the last. You need something to compare to that suck factor to make it 'the suck'.

Like, school sucks BUT this band is awesome. My house is lame BUT my job is great.

Everything that is happening now in our world is a drop in the bucket. It's just one small thing that will eventually end in disaster.. Will we be around when it does? Maybe. Truthfully, I'm more worried about global warming then a nutty dictator with atomic capabilities. ;3

So, I don't think the world is all that bad. Infact, I'm pretty sure it's a good time offered to all whether or not it happens to suck some of the time.

I believe that in time something big is going to happen to where we have a holocaust whether from war or something else. All you hear on the news is people dying and people doing stupid crap. I believe the world is also to overpopulated and that society is getting flushed down the crapper because of drug abuse and crazy people.
