    Hi there.

I am new on this forum. I am looking for Japanese subtitles for any anime. I was looking for them many times on the web but I can't find even one. I know, it might look strange to look for Japanese subtitles for Japanese anime but I am not Japanese and I think that Japanese subtitles will help me in learning Japanese language.

It can be subtitles for virtually any anime, however, I prefer the popular once (like Slayers or so). Or you can suggest me some page where can I found that subtitles. Thanks.

Having done this, I can say that yes, having Japanese subtitles in anime can greatly aid the viewer in learning the language. Unfortunately, not everyone distributes things that way.

The only places I've seen Japanese subtitles were in opening and closing credits of fansubbed anime, and the occasional licensed show (if the show aired with the lyrics, as some shows [Tokyo Mew Mew, Sohryuden] do). Your best bet would be to look through fansubs.

Has a very extensive of anime scripts in their vault.

Other than that, you can find a plethora of sites by just slamming "anime scripts" into google.

    Re: still doesn't find it

    Hi, That's me again.

Ah, missed that in your opening post.

You're going to have a tough time tracking down any full japanese scripts, especially if you're going for it in romaji.

I know it isn't exactly your request, but you can usually get both the transliterated japanese and english lyrics to songs from the submissions over at www.animelyrics.com.

Yeah, that's right but opening/ending theme has 2 minutes, while whole anime sometimes 2 hours. Moreover, singing is not real speach. I must try to search harder...

I've got an idea, what about deaf japanese people, I bet there must be subtitles. Somewhere.

I've only one suggestion for you - you could always buy the DVDs from Japan!
They're Region 2, so that's perfect if you're from there, if not, most DVD players/drives can be persuaded to play 'foreign' discs. Get a decent movie-playing program, and you'll be able to watch them with any subs that are on the disc.

    Good luck!
