Art Calendar Fun: It's 2007!!! Update us on your Progress!

I was thinking about the last roses of summer, even though thats a common June theme.

 

I did that in my class April Showers Bring May Flowers as they say ^^;

 

I got Christmas. What March be anyway?

 

Ummm... I checked there like isnt any hollidays so I guess it could be free. Yeah what would you think of that March as kinda like do what you want month since noting really happens in it. Unles someone find somthing about March that makes it cool.

 

*breezes by casually* Isnt St. Patricks Day on March 17th? *Fades into the shadows*

 

March looks untaken and is ironically the month of my birthday. Anyone mind if I take it?

 

Since your the only that has wanted it I guess it would be O.K. We have all of the months taken now I guess we should figure out the size and start Drawing. One more thing should we make a cover for it? as to start it off or just have the months?

 

I assumed we were just going to put the BJP logo on the cover but an original would be cool. A collaboration cover isn't a bad idea either. What should it have for subject matter though? I was thinking chinese Zodiac but then I remembered next year is the year of the pig. No offense to pigs out there. I'm just not sure how popular a pig calendar would be. :sweat:

 

Ha Ha yeah pigs might not be as cool but a dragon YES!!! but photoshoped would be cool like furryb's water lady but heh who knows just an opinion

 

A collab would be neat. Or portions of all the pictures in the calender so as to be a teaser to the buyer.

Just a note that might help some people think of something to do, you can go on to Wikipedia.com and put in your month and it should give you a whole list of information. Holidays, origins, various different special days and even little miscellaneous information. As an example, I looked up my month, March.

I know I kind of joined on to this project a bit late. A lot of great artists here and I hope I can live up to everyone else. So have we not decided on an end-all size for the picture and calendar-grid?

 

Collab is short for collaboration. It's basically a work done by two or more people together. For example, one person may draw the central image, while another person draws a background.

ahh thank you but yeah that might be cool Like The thred where a bunch of people made a mermaid type thing and it came out looking awsome so maybe a little somthing like that

 

You Work fast ha ha You post it up to let some others see/be inspired Yeah I guess that would be a good idea

 

I thought we didn't even figure out a size for it yet?
