Naruto Thread on Sasuke... *Spoilers*

Yeah I like discussing what is new-ish. So spoilers.

Will Sasuke ever be the same?

For all those who follow the Manga, Sasuke has become more distant, more cold, and etc. He didn't think twice about attacking his friends.

He has always been a little cold but at least he allowed others to get close to him.

He had a best friend relationship with Naruto. Seeing how he wanted to kill him in order to develop the eye, he thought so. He had a healthy rivalship atleast.

My thoughts are until he kills Itachi maybe not. But he may go to far before he kills Itachi. Which means if he does then maybe he can't live with himself.

He knows what Orochimaru is planning. So that adds to him not being able to change back.

We have yet to see enough Sasuke to fully determine if he can change. Atleast I think so.

He probably will never be the same. Which is bad considering Gaara changed and he had a way worse up bringing then Sasuke.

Naruto is a warm character. He makes others believe in themselves. He changes people for the better example Garra. Right now Sasuke he can't get to. I guess beating the crap out of him makes sense. Heh. The only way to get his attention. "You can't beat me up how do you expect to kill your brother."

I am hoping for "let's do it together." Then maybe Sasuke has a chance.

So will Sasuke ever be the same? Or atleast not so cold?

 

I think Sasuke's "cold" feeling is really more of a facade than anything. Someone made an observation of how Sasuke and Itachi both usually left their Sharingan open during battles, however Sasuke never opened his until he closed off Kyuubi and even after it was immediately closed. And we still can't completely forget about Sasuke's actual leaving. He was clearly effected by what Sakura told him. Maybe Sasuke has changed in a way, but in a way that he believes will be better for his friends. Everyone is different and some people endure harder trials in life than the rest of us... but just because someone had an easier time than someone else doesn't mean they can so easily get over their difficulties. It happens, and it's part of being human. No body is perfect. I think, in general, Sasuke doesn't want Naruto and Sakura, or anything, involved in what he's doing. The best way to do that is to hate them, or make it seem like he does. Sasuke doesn't seem like a half-asser, so to speak, so if he really wanted to kill Naruto, Yamato, Sai and Sakura, he would've. I think he was trying to sort of "scare them off" or the likes, hoping showing his feelings (or what he makes them believe are his feelings) would cause them to forget about him.

On a second note... Gaara had some trials but really, they weren't quite as bad as Sasuke's in a way. Gaara still has family, two older siblings that care about him very much and the only hardships he endured while sane involved his uncle which, yes, was quite horrible... but through the rest of his days, Gaara was a sadistic nutcase. You can't expect such things to really take much effect on the mentality of somebody who just doesn't -care- anymore. Sasuke, however, always cared and still does and that's why he is the way he is, and is still tortured by it. Their difficulties in life were drastically different as well. Gaara's is symbolized by the tattoo he has, a symbol of only loving himself, because he thought he was nothing more than a demon that everyone hated but when he saw people -do- care about him and he -is- loved, he can get over that. You can't show someone that the most respected person to you killing everything you hold dear and then torturing you over it, numerous times, is so easily ignored and looked over. Sasuke had his moments but in the end, it wasn't something he couldn't deal with.

I foresee Sasuke dying in the end, but definitely not as the "bad guy" he is being perceived as right now. I think he has a lot of emotion, and a lot of darkness, pent up in himself right now... but I think he's going to die happy when Itachi finally dies (assuming he does it, which I believe he will) and I think that'll be the defining moment when Sasuke makes it clear what he felt all along. There are too many little details to be over looked to think that Sasuke has become a heartless monster in just two and a half years. He spared Naruto's life (and it wasn't because of Itachi because that was only an after thought, after Sasuke was watching Naruto), Sasuke's thanking Sakura and even the difference in the way that Sasuke treated everyone before and how he treats his "peers" now (like not fully respecting Orochimaru while he always called Kakashi "-sensei" and the likes). It is partially attributed to him being an ******* because, frankly, he doesn't -care- about Kabuto and Orochimaru but he needs them right now.

Also I've considered the possibility of maybe Sasuke wanting his clan to die out in entirety. There's a lot of iffy feeling around the Uchiha clan... what Itachi says they were destined too, meaning the Mangekyou, and the evil Chakra that Kyuubi spoke of that even seems to make him feel uncomfortable and it all goes back to Uchiha Madara and the scroll that Itachi and Sasuke both read. I don't think it's beyond the scope that maybe Sasuke is considering ending the entire clan right now because, perhaps, their power is inheritedly evil and can't be avoided in the future... and it would be the only way to stop it.

But those are just my opinions.

I was thinking about this but..How much Power does sasuke really need to beat Itachi.. I mean.... Look at Him Right Now (Sorry If Itachi and Sasuke Fought Cause i just kind of skip around in the Manga)

Also this was prob mentioned in the series but if Naruto Dies does the Kyuubi Die too? or Does it get released?

 

Why do you ask? I need to get caught up on the series, I stopped reading the manga once he became older. However, Kyuubi did share his power with Naruto several times before Naruto died. So, it might be that if Naruto dies then Kyuubi would die too. Or else Kyuubi would have just let Naruto die.

Of course - Kyuubi might not know whether he would be released if Naruto dies and just doesn't want to risk it.

Back to topic: The way that Sasuke left bothers me. But, you make some good points -Sasuke-. Maybe he does have some sort of hidden plot that we don't know about, but will learn of later on in the story. I'm sure that's what the fans want. But, the fans don't always get what they want.

It seems more like the three are living the lives of the Sannin. Naruto following Jiraiya, Sakura following Tsunade, and Sasuke following Orochimaru. The scary part being that Sasuke will become Orochimaru - unless he manages to kill him too. It's a tough call what will happen.

 

I noticed that they were all 3 being trained in by the Sannin. Yeah Sasuke and Orochimaru *shivers* nasty.

I don't think Sasuke will let Orochimaru take over his body. Orochimaru won't fight Itachi or doesn't want too. I read somewhere he sort of fears him. Would Orochimaru really do it? I think Sasuke is using him.

It is an interesting theory that the scroll says something negative about the Uchiha clan. Weren't they suposed to be the most powerful? Also Nine Tails did say the cursed blood line.

Let's not get into what is worse between Garra and Sasuke. Garra has so many emotional ordeals he had to face. Killing people. His family and his village doesn't trust him. His siblings do now. With all that he had to deal with it makes we wonder if any bad thing Sasuke does could he live with himself? Heh.

To answer your question Fudge we don't know yet. The Nine Tails warned Sasuke to not kill Naruto and that he would regret it. This was right after Sasuke found out about the beast inside. Maybe it has to do with Itachi. Maybe it would kill the Nine Tails.

I reread the chapters with Sasuke he said that Sai is filling in for his absence. I think he would like to come back once he is done.

I think what Sai said touched him the most. But that could just be me. Heh.

 

Well in one of the previous chapters (I'll have to go look for it if it's necessary), Sasuke did tell Team 7 that he knew of Orochimaru's plans to take over his body and that he would "gladly give Orochimaru his body and his afterlife" if it meant killing Itachi. Also, Orochimaru previously stated that he believes Itachi is more powerful than him (which brings up my theory that maybe he isn't, seeing as Orochimaru only sees strength in how many Jutsus you know which is brought up numerous times with the mention of him wanting to learn all Jutsus, as well as Jiraiya making a snide remark during their fight that Orochimaru will learn that strength doesn't lie in the number of Jutsus you know. Logically speaking, that makes Itachi an admirable foe since he has the ability Orochimaru would want so that he -can- learn every Jutsu on top of the Mangekyou). And also, as I believe I said in my previous post, I think there is much merit in the difference in which Sasuke treats his teachers (he was very fond and respectful towards Kakashi, even called him "sensei" but he basically treats Orochimaru like trash and we frequently see Kabuto scolding him for how he speaks to Orochimaru).

So the only reason why Sasuke is with Orochimaru is to get stronger. Because Kakashi probably couldn't teach him as well. It would make sense.

Is it all an act then?

I don't like Kabuto anymore. He is starting to make Hidan seam human.
