I know, you're telling me. o_O Must've taken some force to cause it to slip from his hand, break the strap and crack the television like that. I've chucked X-Box controllers at televisions without damage. :p

I've been skeptical since I've heard of it. It doesn't really add up. :p

tv's don't crack like that, and it would, if anything, only chip the screen a little, if it did anything at all to it. i call bull simply on the fact that the goons sent out the image. it no longer matters what site you fnid it on, they're everywhere. heh

i'm sure this has even been ripped apart by 4chan too. they're good for it. heh

A good excuse for me to not get my brother this for Christmas. He throws the controllers when he gets mad as it is.

Isn’t the controller a little light weight? It would crack if that happened.

Agreed. The controller would bust apart before it cracked a television.

Anyone ever seen a rear projection TV?

The screen isn't a glass picture tube like in most TVs, it's something like a white sheet with a hard plexiglass front that is designed to protect what's behind it from guys like that. It didn't crack and shatter like glass because it isn't glass. If the hard plastic corner/tip of the Wiimote struck the softer plexiglass of the TV hard enough it could easily crack it. Imagine if it had been an LCD or Plasma screen.

If they photoshopped it I have to give them props. Not only do they manage to get the refraction of the light across the crack correct in every single shot (from all angles) but they managed to pin the angle and viewing aspect of the Wii background in every shot as well. The close up shots are blurred like they should be: Cameras are usually a little out of focus up close like that, especially cheap ones.

The only flag that I can raise is that the guy claimed to be doing this while playing Bowling on Wii Sports... I mean, BOWLING?! It's really not that intense.
