Death Note When Death Note gets popular?

Like all the other threads what toys and etc will be available once Death Note is popular to the english speaking folks.

I see the following.

Death Note (actually notebook)
Action figures
A game
T shirts
A necklace


Now here is a different question what would you buy?

I am getting a Death Note no mater what.

I want to go into my work and see my buddy and ask him "how do you spell your last name?" Hehe. I can see him saying. "OMFG." then laughing. or "cool." followed by "where did you get that?"

I got to have a shirt also. xD I want one with Ratio (Light) and L.

 

There already IS a Notebook silly. XP

I've seen it in anime hobby shops ever since the manga was translated into English. I even know someone who owns one.

(unless you mean, these are the items you've sene already, not the ones you can see happening in the future o.o;;; )

 

There will not be much maybe some tee-shirts. I doubt there will be a game. It all depends on how popular it gets. The best it can hope for is some stuff in Hot Topic. Nothing will be in Toys "r" Us. They will just import some note books, pins, stuff that they sell in Hot Topic. It won't be that big though outside the anime circles. It doesn't have the two things that make an anime super-popular in N. America, 200+ episodes and lots of shonen fighting like Inuyasha and DBZ.

Actually there is a game out now. I hope it gets translated and put into a game.

I think a board game would be great. You go against a friend.

 

I think there's already necklaces too...all found in hobby shops tho.

And I KNOW for a fact there's a Ryuk plushie. XD I've seen a picture of it.

I hope to see some PVC figurines. But I really can't see much merchandise of it over here in North America other than the typical stuff you see for animes. (plushies, pvc figurines, models, etc, etc.) And, all of it you'll only be able to find in hobby shops.

 

Ryuk plushie!! Yay. What about ren?

I wouldn't mind seeing a few outfits from the Anime.

Ryuk would be awesome.

 

Just to elaborate on the game, Wikipedia has this to say:

I saw a picture of somebody with a Death Note, too. I wouldn't know where to start looking for one locally, but it'd be pretty ace if I found a store.

 

I want a DS for the game. Hehe
