Full Metal Alchemist Full Metal Alchemist Fans, Eat your hearts out!

Okay, people, prepare to hate me. Last night, Wednesday, April 11, 2007, I was invited to a free screening of the Full Metal Alchemist Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa last night at one of my local movie theaters here in Houston. Firstly, let me just say this is an awesome movie and I highly recommend you see it. Now, here's the good part.

The special guests attending this little event were Vic Mignogna, voice of Edward Elric (Dark Mousy from D.N. Angel, Kurtz Weber from Full Metal Panic, etc), Luci Christian, voice of Wrath (Kaname Chidori from Full Metal Panic, Himeno from Pretear, etc) and Jason Douglas, voice of Rudolf Hess (Bandoh in Elfen Lied, etc).

These guys ar really cool. Vic sounds exactly like Ed in real life, and we got Lisa to say a line from the movie and from Full Metal Panic, which was funny as heck. Jason is just a really cool guy tot alk to and very laid back.

I was fortunate enough to get all their autographs on a movie poster and again on seperate pictures.

Oh yeah, it was goooood!

But I played the FMA game, and the dubbing was awesome. Congratulations for your luck

Also, may I say the movie wasn't awesome; it was a big let down in comparison to the series. And I've outlined why it was bad here.

*sniffles* FR, that's not nice, heh. And no, I wouldn't exactly call them insider connections. Trust me, if I had those, I'd be using them to find a way to break into the voice acting business, heh. No, my friend just works at the movie theater where the event was held and told me about it. It wasn't broadcasted or anything so the only real people there were friends of the other workers.

But yes, I had a lot of fun.

And no, I don't want you to hate me, lol.

i'll take a look at this "awesome movie" but thanks to FR i'm in no rush to see it.

 

I know! Congrats though, that's amazing luck right there! Out of all the premieres...could almost seem a conspiracy. xD Awesome though.

 

Ah yes, I met him in MegaCon about two or so months ago. Great guy! I think that my brother said that he told him (wasn't there at the moment, and it could have been some other actor he was talking about), but he said he wanted to be Orochimaru for Naruto.

Interesting factor, he loves himself, lol.
