Now I'm sure that many fans will not care too much... but they are finally releasing a sort of complete series deal with FMA. Okay so maybe you already bought all the disc, good for you, but I for one haven't. This September, they will release the first four disc of FMA in a box.... heck Best Buy's website allows you to pre-order. To order it now... is $44.99.

I guess the big question for me is would it be cheaper to order it preorder it online and not pay taxes.... hmm the ground shipping is $1.99... and we have a 10% sales tax....

No date for the second half... expect it in 2008 by my guesses, though they might try to get it out in time for the holidays.

highly unlikely on the latter.. they'll probably torture us and make us wait longer than the holidays.

    Aww...

Do I regret ever buying the thirteen volumes separated? Nah, not really. It takes up more space (the space FMA deserves!), and I've gotten to watch the series since last year. I think this Anime is WAY too good to be waited a year past the release of Volume 13.

In theory, it ended last february, so it's even longer....

Just went out and bought the boxset. I haven't gotten around to watching it but:

    1) Anyone that is expecting any bonus feature, don't. XP There aren't any new ones, just the ones that came on the individual dvds (like Ready, Steady, Go! music vidoe and an episode of Spiral.) I read the back thoroughly. It's what it is: a nice collection of the first four dvds so you don't have to buy them separately. So don't go expecting any super sweet extras. Buy the limited edition of the movie for those. ;P

    2) THE CASE IS SO PRETTY. IT'S ALL SHINY AND STUFF.

    3) It was very cheap. :3 I paid $46 Canadian for it.

Much better than buying them separately. And now I have something nice to get the voice actors to sign 83

Btw, the four guidebooks are included and they have a separate case for them and the dvds.

Now just gotta wait for the second to replace my burned copies and have a full collection. (Although I'll still go out and buy vol 6 separately. Why? BECAUSE OF THE HYUROI COVER. HUGHES IS THRUSTING. THRUSTING)
