Anime Ouran Host Club (has been lisenced!)

There was an Ouran thread in the manga forum and in the fansub forum, but never here in the anime forum, sooooooooooooooo...

I make this thread in honor of Ouran being lisenced sometime in the last two weeks by Funimation! I know there are fans here of the show, why not discuss what you hope for the dub?


I personally hope for Caitlyn Glass (voice of Winry in FMA) to be casted as Renge. Actually, I KNOW she'll be casted as Renge. She's just too perfect for the job, and FunI loves to use her on characters like Renge.

Dameon Clarke (Scar) should be Mori. X3

And Sonny Strait (Maes Hughes) as Haruhi's dad....just for laughs. XDD I would lol everytime Haruhi's dad shows up if he plays him. XD


Oh, and I hope there are no 'Ha-ROO-hi's or 'Ki-OH-ya's or 'Hi-KAR-oo's. ><

 

So has the second series that is in the "we are for sure doing it but are waiting for some reason" licensed also?

Funimation? Well at least this isn't rated higher then G in my opinion so they can't mess with much of it.

I've seen no confirmation of a second season. Only speculation by fans. BONES hasn't said a thing that I've heard of yet.


Oh now come on. FunI is better than most dub companies. =/ Sure, their voice actors sometimes come off blank and as if they're just reading their scripts but once they get more adjusted into their roles, they get better (they certainly did in FMA) they did a fantastic job dubbing FMA, one of the best English dub I've ever seen.
