Hino Kahoko is a 2nd year student at a music academy where the students are divided into two groups: those who wear the gray uniforms are the Gen Ed.(General Education) students, and those who wear the cream colored blazers have chosen a musical instrument as their course of study.
This musical academy was founded by a musician who loved everything about music and made it his life to learn as much as he could. He crossed the seas to learn more about music and one day, he found a small fairy that was injured so he decided to care for it. He told this fairy that his dream was to establish a music school in his country. The fairy, Lili, blessed the man's school of music because he has saved the fairy's life.

I started watching this anime this week and I love it.
I first discovered it in Shojo Beat, but I forgot all about it until someone recommended it to me.
I think I especially like it because it deals with music and I don't think that there are many animes that focus on music.
I haven't read the manga yet, but I plan to. I believe that there is also a video game? I don't really know the details but it sounds fun.
    Has anyone else seen it?

I bought the first four volumes of the manga. And I check regulary to see if Strawberrymint Subs have updated. I even tried to find a boxset (bootlegged) of the Anime because I couldn't wait for the subs.

So if that answers your question...

I also like that it deals with music. Something I think there isn't to many Manga/Anime on. It actually deals with classical music. Which there is none on.

Yep there is a video game. Not sure on how it is though.

I like the series. Hino turns into loving the violin due to being able to play it thanks to the Lili, the fairy. She gets to use a magical violin and take part in the music competition hosted every three years.

Only part I don't like is that every guy seams to fall for her... Well the competitors.

Though it wouldn't be a shoujo without it.

Hino is a very strong person. She takes her music with all her heart. The other contestents seem to dislike her ability to play music so well after she lets it slip that she hasn't played music for to long.

Some believe she is a genius. It hurts Hino that she lies to them. But she made a promise to Lili. Also the general ed students are starting to get into music.

It was playing at Animethon this year, and the description grabbed my attention, but I have yet to see it. Might have to check it out.

Yeah I didn't like that either.
    I'm hoping for Hino/Tsukimori pairing.

I am either for Ryoutaro, Len (Tsukimori), or Kazuki. Though I perfer Kazuki.

I think the best person would be whomever could help her with her current slup. Episode 18 refering to.

I really enjoyed watching this anime, it made me more interested in classical music. In fact, when I went to salzbourge (the hometown of Mozart), I got goosebumps :p

I must say it renewed my interests in classical music.

Ave Maria has become one of my favorites.

It also let me know that there is much more to classical music. There should be a wide arrangement of variation to Ave Maria by other artists.

Heh. I want a guitar. Ever since I saw this I did.

Of course there isn't a guitar in this but it still would be nice to have one.

I can't wait until strawberryfansubs get the next episode sub.

I want to know if Hino will every pick it up again.

I think she will. She needs to remember that she loves it. Which makes it okay to play.
