Anime Ouran High School Host Club

    My next pick is Ouran High School Host Club.

    This anime is great. It is a shoujo anime. It has all the basic shoujo anime including high school girl, and high school boys ^_^, love story, heart warming storylines (well whenever possible especial with the Father/prince/king person), and wonderful characters.

    Not only that, it is hilarious. Belly aching funny.

    Little mature though. Heh

    I love the opening theme. "Sakura kiss" by Chieko Kawabe.

    It is about Haruhi a poor tomboyish student at a school for the wealthy, which she was only able to attend because of a scholarship. Looking for a place to study, she enters a music room, only to find that it's being used by the Ouran Host Club. The guys of the host club intentionally play up their attributes to please the customers, which even they realize is silly, but it does work like a charm. Haruhi thinks it's all ridiculous, but before she can leave, she accidentally breaks a vase. She can't pay for it, so she's told that she'll have to stay and do odd jobs. She does this until they realize that she would be more valuable as a real member of the club. Not realizing she's female due to her appearance, they fix her up and give her a male uniform. She makes such a handsome boy, they decide to have her keep up the charade even after they find out she's a girl. Although she thinks the guys are crazy, they seem to be good people, and not having much choice, she plays along. [From ANN OHSHC]

    It is definitely a must see anime.

    I'd like to add for those who haven't seen this yet....to see it. It's a great anime, and the characters are all great. Being a guy, yes, it's odd...but the whole premise of the series was great.

    Yay! That clears everything up! :3 Izzy would it be too much to ask if you also merged this one and the one I made earlier about it together? =D sankyuu~ :3


    Anyways, I watched the whole series this summer and fell in love. <3 I adore the twins. i hope good voices are found for them.

    Vic Mignogna told us at Aniemthon last weekend that he wnats to play tamaki XD

    The manga keeps going...

    I don't know I heard a rumor about a season 2. When I asked about it I lost the info on it. There was reasons why they are delaying it. But...who knows.

    All that is left is to deepen the feelings of the members. Make them grow more.

    That's true. I thought Beck had ended well, then I read the manga -- now I totally scorn the storyline of the anime. :D

    There's ALWAYS rumors about second seasons for EVERY anime. XD


    It's too early to say anything. the anime didn't end long ago, and BONES ended it at a nice little spot. Even if the manga's still going that means nothing. *points to FMA*

    LOL, maybe we'll get a crappy movie instead!!! XDDDDDD

    If it happens I blaime you for the crappy movie. Unless they do one like Escaflowne. The story told almost the same way. Then it could be okay.

    Sadly, the good ended anime they make a sequel for it, but if it was ended horribly or needed a sequel, they never do it -__-;

    The manga didn't grab my attention as much as the anime.. so I hope they leave it as it is and not ruin it, unless they plan not to :/
