Warrior Within got boring for me really fast and never played the other, but then action-type games really don't do much for me.

    Strategy ftw

Tales of SYmphonia rocks my socks... You should finish it, even though I about cried when it ended cause it was such an amazing and lush game with a rich storyline which is hard to find in lots of RPG's now-a-days. I mean it is worth it and all the cut scenes are towards the end of the second disc....

I got two new games too! Duck Hunt and Bomberman! j/k ;)

I liked neither of those games, sadly. Ninja Gaiden spoiled me for Prince of Persia's controls (hate them, but I liked some of the puzzles) and Metal Gear Solid spoiled me for Splinter Cell.

Warrior Within I liked, I hated Sands Of Time though.
Splinter Cell: Double Agent is fantastic, but is crap in comparison to the next gen versions of the game(There's so much more stuff you can do, it isn't even funny.)
Tales of Symphonia is probably the one must own game on the Gamecube, but that might just be me, and my picky tastes.

Agreed. Especially if you like RPGs.

    I haven't gotten any new games besides Pokemon, but I recently started on FFXII. Vaan and his painted abs of DEATH frighten me. ._.;

Anyone watch the Tales of Symphonia Anime? more of an OVA?

So how good is the Prince of Persia? It has always perked my interest but never got into it. I loaded The Sands of Time onto my computer but never played it. I want to clean my comp off to run better.

The controls are crap? What about the storyline for PoP?

I am going to call game stop to get. Tales of Symphonia on GC I think.

Seeing how many like it here.

If I like then maybe I will buy the Wii Tales of Symphonia: Ratatoskr no Kishi. Whenever it translates. It's supposed to release in 2008 in Japan.

One thing is great about having older generation machines is that the games are cheaper.

There's really nothing wrong with the controls, just not what I expect from a puzzle action game. Games really affect me when controls are pretty bad -- Zone of the Enders was one, until I really sat down and got used to the controls. If I did with PoP, I'm sure I would have liked the game...but really, it just turned me off, and I wanted to get back to MGS3 at the time. ;)

Sand of Time is just too frustrating for me, the puzzles are way too fast and require memorization skills up the wazoo.

The story is almost non-existant too, its just mindless fun if you ask me.

If you have it, play it. I wouldn't pay money for them though, atleast not buy them. I rented them.

And I got my Tales for 20 dollars used, its really a great game. Look into Baten Kaitos Eternal Wings and The Lost Ocean for another good gamecube RPG if you are craving one, it really lacks them.

I think the GC was just really an ROG machine lol just like how Xbox was the Halo machine lol. And I will MOST DEFINITELY pick up the tales game for Wii... that is just to AMAZING to give up!

They're better and worse in different aspects, but they are all really good RPG's which come few and too far between

It's actually one game, thats the full title. Baten Kaitos Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean. The voice acting is quite bad, but the story is good(Chrono-team IIRC) and the battle system is quite unique.

and i can't believe I forgot about Skies of Arcadia Legends.

To answer your question, it's worse than Tales, but then again every gamecube game is worse than Tales, since it's the best one on it. =)

    But that's my opinion.

Have not played Skies, and won't plan to for a bit.

I HAVE played Splinter Cell. Both for the PS2 and the 360. You're not missing out on much, I mean, they're both really different experiences, but you're getting more online play done on the 360, so there's the big plus.

I was dissatisfied with all three of the endings. Here's what I'll say about each of the multiple endings without spoilers...

Bad-Allright, but considering how little there is, bad.
    Good-Second Worst.
Best-Clearly this is not the best, in fact it's the worst. I'll tell you this, it ends with a "To Be Continued..", a horrible cliffhanger, and the fact that Splinter Cell Conviction (5) won't even be using this ending, so you can add this with Borat's voice: "......NOT!""

It's a four episode long OAV. The second episode came out earlier this month and I'm still torrenting it. I've seen the first episode tho. It's alright, but you've got to be prepared for a lot of changes. They had to compact it quite abit and take out at leats one angst factor. *coughmarblecough*

Baiten Kaitos is pretty unique. I didn't get too far in it but it was pretty fun when I was playing.

    Heh. No Xbox 360.

I am more excited about Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World for the Wii only coming this year. The graphics look great.

My GC is more active. Games are cheap right now. So, I bought a lot. Can't beat less then 10 bucks.

Tales of Symphonia, X-men Legends, Avatar (love it), Luigi's mansion, Soul Calibur II, Baten Kaitos Orgins, Catwoman, Naruto Clash of the Ninja 1 & 2, Fire Emblem Path of Radiance. Out of those MP7, Pokemon and Avatar are beat.

Now for the Wii MP8, Mario & Sonic at the olympic games, Wii Play, Wii Zelda, Wario Smooth Moves, Trauma Center Second Opinion, Transformers the game, Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree. I fiddle around with them. Yep have not beat zelda. oops.

Last time I checked in the stories there was nothing I wanted for the Wii then there is a lot now...TC 2, SSBB, SMG, MK, FFCC, DQS-? (maybe), Go, Diego Go for my son, Game Party, Avatar burning earth, ben 10, and OP.

So how are those games you bought Mark?
