Anime Vampire Knight

I am excited that vampire knight will be made into an anime.

For those who don't know about VK.

It's about:

The story starts off at Yuki's earliest memory. It is of a stormy night in winter, were she was attacked by a vampire... And then rescued by another.

Now 10 years later, Yuki Cross, the adapted daughter of the headmaster of Cross Academy, has grown up and become a guardian of the vampire race, protecting her savior, Kaname, from discovery as he leads a group of vampires at the elite boarding school.

Cross Academy is separated into two classes the Day Class which is humans and the Night Class which is Vampires.

But also at Yuki’s side is Zero Kiryu, a childhood friend who’s hatred for the creatures/vampires that destroyed everything he held dear, is now determined never to trust them. This coexisting arrangement seems all well and good, but have the vampires truly renounced their murderous ways, or is there a darker truth behind their actions.

Is Kaname's infatuation with Yuki the beginning of a forbidden romance, or is it something in her forgotten past that draws him to her. Because in this world of secrets, nothing is as it seems. And the price of misplaced trust may even be worse than death.

I am really excited for this. VK is a great manga. Its only 35 chapters because it comes out once a month (need to check on that)

The anime will be great. The manga has spectacularily drawn.

Manga is by Matsuri Hino who has also done MeruPuri, originally titled MeruPuri: Märchen Prince.

April 7th is the air date.

 

Currently, I have up to episode four.

Sucks to have to wait a week or so for each new episode. The manga was so-so, but I figure I might as well get back into anime since my hiatus after Mushi-shi. Damn that show was good.

 

The manga was once a month...way worse then anime. But I still complain to. I really hate american tv shows.

The manga has gotten off in a different way.
