Shiritsu Oedo Gakuen Koubouki Code CRACKED!!!

Seiji-san really did came through!
For years it has baffled many SMJ fans and after a lot of speculations many began to think that the SMJ2 story was just a myth. After the translation project that nearly fried my brain I have finally cracked the Shiritsu Oedo Gakuen Koubouki Code! Thanks to the help of Seiji-san, he helped convert the original Japanese texts to understandable English phrases. I can further refine the work on the translated texts so that I can put them up on the Saber Site. After reading Seiji-san’s translations, I realized that I was a bit off with my translation work. At first I was confused about the shocking motorcycle bit at the entrance ceremony, thanks to the better translation Seiji-san sent me I was finally able to figure it out , I am adding the preliminary edit piece of the first and second page of i-POLILIN’s “Shiritsu Oedo Gakuen Koubouki”, I just hope I got the whole picture right this time. I will also post the side panel of the first page if you guys are interested

In a time when marionettes and Humans live in equality.

Tateshina Iori gets a shocking encounter with Inawashiro Kirito who barged into the Oedo Academy entrance ceremony on a motorcycle. Iori is a bishounen who is having an inferiority complex and wants to become masculine like Kirito, he heard of news about Kirito forming a Cheerleading group for the Oedo Academy and Iori decides to join it. However, a wall, the chief of the student council stands in Kirito's way into forming the Cheerleading group.
In comes Iori's childhood friend named Muzusawa Kyouko who is a female human, a junior high school classmate named Sora Akebi and adding to Iori's fated sweet hearts are Hino Ringo (Apple) and her friend Kazami Cherry, who dashed out into the Kirito crisis and overthrow the student council's battle machine! Together they formed the Oedo Academy Support Club!

For those who know, "the stories of Oedo Academy" is a story of the same world as the "Saber Marionette" series!

It's GONE!!!

Hitoshi Doi's Saber Marionette page is GONE!!!
It was still up a few months ago, I know because I have visited it, I was trying to learn a little bit more about the reserach he did with the SM series and I was shocked to find that his SMJ page gone! Even with search engines all search return negative luckily I was able to archive the whole web page in my computer back home, I just hope I find all my data still intact when I get back.

It's just sad to see another great SMJ web page disappear...

New Saber Marionette Media DISCOVERED???

HAHAHA!!! I must apologize for the mistakes, I was re-writing the whole thing and, yes I noticed them also. I was working on these translations very late at night and it seems that my brain was not functioning properly that moment, any way, thanks for the corrections. I am still trying to piece together everything and I noticed something that I have overlooked before.

I have been reviewing the SMJ Audio and Radio drama information I got from Hitoshi Doi’s SM Page and I realized something, on the May 15, 1997 radio broadcast review, it mentioned:

“The Saber Marionette J radio drama will come out on CD. There will be three volumes, going on sale 8/7, 9/5, and 10/2. Some of the letters to this radio show might be used in the CD booklet.”

It mentioned only three volumes to be released consecutively in August 7, September 5, and October 2 1997, I realized that it contradicts the first SMJ Audio drama which was released earlier and has four volumes. I found further proof of this on the June 12, 1997 radio broadcast review which mentioned:

“Yuka and Kenyuu recently sang a duet, which was going to be the ending song for this radio show. It will be included in the third Saber Marionette J radio drama CD.”

I checked out the SMJ audio drama CD for this particular track and it was not on any of the track lists, it clearly means that there is also another set of SMJ radio drama CD’s apart from the four audio drama discs that were released from January 01, 1996 to May 22, 1996. My conclusion is that there are three additional radio drama discs that were released, and with reference to the Radio broadcast summaries from Hitoshi Doi’s SM page, each radio drama disc contains 3 episodes each.

Battle Sabers Video clip!!!

Hello! I got a little something for other SMJ fans who are interested to see the Saber Marionette Battle Sabers game.

Ever since I have learned about the existence of the SMJ video game called "Battle Sabers" I was very interested to see how the game looks like and sadly I didn't have any luck on finding any demo videos of it... A year ago I got the chance to get my hands on a copy of the game and I just want to let other fans see what the game looks like.

Here is one of my game plays (please bear with it if the game play kinda suck ), the game was in CPU mode and the difficulty is set to normal. The fight is Apple vs. Lime, the never before seen Battle Saber Girl steps out to challenge our favorite SM Girl. I must admit Lime is quite a challenge, all I can do is hit and run.

I was hoping I could capture the video with sound, but I think my system does not allow stereo mix sound recording. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my little video!

Saber Marionette Series information

I have been making a list of the Saber Marionette series for the Saber Site and I would like to announce that I excerpted most of the information from a thread posted by BakaMattsu here at BJP about the SM series info. I added few more infos that I think should be mentioned in it. Before I put this up on the Saber Site I would like to ask permission (especially to BM) if it is ok for me if I put this up on the Saber Site. See page here

Thanks! About the two additional volumes of the novel, I believe they are different from the "Shiritsu Oedo Gakuen Koubouki" story. Recalling the information that was originally posted in Hanami's SM Page, the two additional SM novel volumes were called "A private Teradori educational institution" where the original casts of SMJ also appeared, but this time the SM girls are human!

This information can also be found on the SMJ Novels section on the Saber Site. On the original Hanami page, after the two additional volumes of the SMJ Novel were introduced (making a total of 14 books) a mysterious Novel title follows after in the very bottom of the page. The novel was entitled "Stories of Oedo Academy" the release date was not mentioned, this little piece caught my eye and bothered me for years, I believe it is the "Shiritsu Oedo Gakuen Koubouki" which is different from the last two volumes mentioned. Thanks again! I will put it up after a few days!

 

SM NEWS!!! Saber Marionette i ~Neo Gene~ Manga

NEWS FLASH for other SM fans, a kind site visitor of the Saber Site informed me of a new manga of the Saber Marionette Series, it is entitled Saber Marionette i ~Neo Gene~, I was very surprised to learn that Mr. Satoru Akahori made another addition to the SM series!
