Still impressive. How many forums have you joined that been on for so long?

I watched over 5000 episodes of anime and have finished 198 series. I think the OVA count for it though...

 

You actually counted? now thats impressive. I can't remember how many i watched, but it hasn't been that much. I think my interest in anime has slowed somewhat over the years. Just finished watching the latest series of Zero No Tsukaima, which i enjoied. I think the last series i was really impressed with was Black Lagoon. I was also watching Desert Punk at the time as well, and it started of really good, but i was a little disapointed when the main character became one of those guy's oppsessed with breasts. Other then that i thought it was a very cleaver anime.

Also i'm 24 today. Kinda makes me feel a little empty havong not done much with my life up to this point.

i dont remeber how many i seen most of the ones i seen have been japanese mailed from a friend in for japan i have yet to see them here this was way back in NM. Know i cant remember how many i seen that are dub.

 

i just got home from a weekend concert event adna all..
got to see three days grace..candlebxo, kid ROCK! YEAH, buckcherry, nad puddle of mudd.


man..it was awesome and all becasue Kid Rock was like my dad's favorite band and he played all of his old songs nad ive always been a fan. so many people with bad BO though. jeeesus.

we got a hotel that was 200 dollars a person a night and all three of us were in the hotel floor below the one kid rock was staying at so i got to see him in person and all.

we sat on the top floor just drinking a 80 dollar bottle of wine in those rich people glasses looking down at all the people all weekend after the concerts..

Counted? nope joined myanimelist.net because I was tired of not remembering the series I wanted to see or forgetting that "one" series. I am missing some though. Heh.

Well pokemon is over 500 episodes and I watch that with my son. Naruto 300+, bleach 185 or so, IY 167, D. Gray man 103, Prince of Tennis 178, Slam dunk 101, and YGO 224. That is almost 2000. It is easy to see it get so high.

 

Pokemon, nice. 4kids or authentic? If you get your boy into subs then his english and reading skills are going to soar through the roof. Reading comp as well.

And who said that Anime didn't teach a thing or two?

I'm looking for new series to watch. I need to see Death Note, but I'm flip flopping on it because I know I'll dig it, but don't want to fall head over heels into it quite yet.

Still, what series out there have been just amazing for you boys and girls? I'm still watching the baseline three- Naruto, Bleach and One Piece, but what else is there that's head and shoulders above the slurry of crappy, cut and paste series that have been so prevalent lately?

4kids. He just started reading last year so I will hold off on subs. But it is a good idea though. He wants to be Ash for Halloween. ^.^ he was Naruto last year.

Although he loves to watch Naruto Shippoden with me. We also watch Naruto in English. I buy the Uncut boxsets. 10/14 numero 10 is coming out. Naruto doesn't say "believe it" all that much. Thank god.

He also likes to go to bed watching my way old Yu Gi Oh dvd's with only jap voices and english subs. But he doesn't know how to put the subs on.

Series amazing? Hmmm...depends on genre.
Psychological? Code Geass: Lelouch of Rebellion R2
Romance? The Girl Who Leapt Through Time Movie
Random humor? Think Beck...Detroit Metal City.

There hasn't been any really great series that I want to watch. Thinking about checking out Tales of the Abyss and Blade of the Immortal. But I went back to watching Claymore for now.

 

Say that again? Blade of the immortal is coming to anime? As in the killer manga?

Umm...its been out since sometime in July. Six episodes have been subbed thus far. So its already out.

 

Naruto the anime was a buzzkill. Love the manga but i swear.. it's like watching pokemon.

The filler was epically bad. Anything before, to include, the fight with Sasuke at the waterfall is goodness yummytime. Most of the Shippuden is golden. Blood, battles and half the cornball-ness of the first half the series. Don't watch dubs, it's like watching Pokemon.

omg, BJP is back. I haven't been able to connect for the past few days. Yeah, the wildfires have been burning about, but nothing close to where I live. I only smelled the smoke one day and it was only for about an hour. No worries.

No, I am not watching the Blade of the Immortal anime, but I will in good time.
