I so need to stop being a member of the PA (procrastinator anonymous). Four 1 page papers to write and all I want to do is watch my new movie. Journey to the Center of the Earth.

It's out on dvd. And I planned on watching it last night but the power went out....god is against me. Now its halloween and can't watch it yet.

Power outage killed one of my tv's...now I have to share with son. No clue when I can watch it.

 

Aw, I missed my 4 year in April this year. Will catch my 5th in '09 I hope

Now to rant~ Gah, I have to redo upper school starting next year. Personally, I'd LOVE to be at university high school.. I saw a bunch of scene-style kids there when I visited. They don't have clubs in Aussie high schools or anything. How sufferful these 2 years before university will be! I'll be 20 before I even start uni... And before I re-graduate high school :|

 

Education is the best weapon you have in the game of life. Embrace it. Most of my boys that I went to High School with are still in college (we've been out almost six years now). At least they're persistent. Don't feel bad at getting in at 20. I'm 25 and I'm just starting myself.

That's encouraging I've been poisoned with the pessimism of my ex who is applying for a law/arts joint degree for next year at 22. He feels too old to be starting LAW. I kept having to tell him that he's just going to get older the whole time he contemplates whether to start at his age or not.. ahahah. Usually I'm the pessimistic one in that relationship

 

So true Wertie. I started last spring. I was 24. Now 25. Also have a kid. It's never to late to decide what you want to do. In fact at 20 is early.

 

It sucks when you wake up one day and realize your an adult now.

I want to be a writer so I am working on a CLS degree.

Hey there are some people at my college who are 30 and 40+ and they are still trying to cope with the fast development within the IT branch.

I have been here at B.jp since 2002, with one year of absence. Whoa.

 

It was a small kitchen fire but annoying. I have these really bad kitchen stove rings that don't hardly fit and touch the metal rings. But I solved that issue by tin foil.

It was funny at the time to figure out what to throw on it. It wasn't a grease fire. So no baking soda. You can't throw water on an electric stove. So no water. I blew it out. Used a tong to throw it in water then once it cooled I put tinfoil and went back to cooking. The american way.

My college also has the older kids. 30+ and 40+. There is this one guy who is 40-50, I talk to when I see him. He has to do IT because his job requires it. Never done it before.

Here since 2003. Though my time will keep going done. Classes are kicking my butt to study more. First time ever so I have been learning how this semester.

 

Fascinatingly enough many Americans are going back to college because the jobs that they thought were secure were pulled out from under them, and they are discovering that without a college degree they can't get rehired. All the competition has college degrees. I guess this shows what direction our country is headed in.

How about some friendly medical advise for the soon-to-be medical student?
I think i dislocated my shoulder. I got up this morning, it was numb for a minute and i just almost hit the floor in pain. I can't really move it. I am typing with one hand to avoid jarring it. I hit it when i stole that damn shopping car yesterday and fell out of it and now it's screaming at me. It's not even bruised or anything..i don't know. I just figure hey, i was in boot camp lol i never got this sore to something on my body. So maybe it's something besides just soreness.
