Most of it happened about two years ago or so, so... yeah, I'm doing peachy. Took some time to get over, didn't really have anyone to talk to about things that happened, per se, but oh well... as the saying goes, **** happens. I'm doing some of my own failing in school, but hopefully I'll pick up the pieces. I couldn't go as far as to say I'm happy, but I guess that I am mildly content.

I am also convinced that WoW is the devil. Let those hedonists keep their game.

I don't speak to my ex anymore, either - a rather unpleasant break up and she ended up with someone she met on WoW. I guess whoever can pay her subscription for her.

I think my "getting back" at my ex was much more drastic and much more uncalled for... but hey, it was still ****ing hilarious. I won't go into detail here. XD Thankfully, I talk to no one that really knew of us as a couple so I don't run into any problems (in fact most "friends" I have now are ones that have only been my friends since AFTER the event - I tend to just ditch my old friends, or they ditch me, and just move on - like Meaikoh from here).

Anyway, I'm sorry to hear about the rather ****acular time you had with your ex. I guess we all make poor decisions sometimes, huh? XD

I guess aside from doing better in school, my next steps are doing something to try and push myself to really WRITE something like I want. That and get rid of this God-forsaken username.

Y'know, I also need more manga to read. I read Bleach and Naruto but they aren't just what they used to be. Soul Eater is only monthly, D.Gray-Man is on hiatus and my two favorites, Shin Angyo Onshi and Hellsing, are over. Siiigh. At least Hirano has something new coming out next year.

i feel the pain, especially with WoW involved. I ran out of a two year relationship and on thanksgiving he came to visit and i took him back, my mistake in the end if it comes out wrong.

Is it just me but do alot of relationships end over World of Warcraft and Everquest2? I mean seriously. Have any of you ever been to eq2flames? That website is insane. Some guy actualy posted a thread about some guy meeting his wife and 'poking' her and some other chick was like giving the cyborz for guild titles. i love world of warcraft with a deep passion, much like i did for everquest 2 when i played it but darn. Heed the quote.
"Don't screw people you play games with."
But then again. I am erherm dating a fellow player who pays for my account so maybe i'm just as much as a loser :D

    haha. i love it.

My name should be Karrie poor decisions. I make them a lot. Meh. But it is fun though....best sleep ever in jail. <.< >.> something stupid.

DGM on hiatus I was wondering why I had yet to read anything.

WoW relations happen because that's all they do. They get to "know" each other. I don't mind playing games but the real world is much better to live in.

I also am trying to write.

Coldplay would be great to see. Small town cold sucks. Nothing happens. Winnie the Pooh live. Blah.

I now think that people for ND are not that bright. Well some. First time there is snow there are a LOT of accidents. We should know by now drive SLOW!!!

I also not a fan of santa anymore. He always gives the bests gifts even though the parents buy them. Then when the kid gets old enough he/she is all upset that santa was fake and still no thank you.

Lol. Never been to jail before, but hey - I'm still young.

Hoshino is sick again - she seems to get sick a lot, usually "minor", only on hiatus a week but this is the third time that it's been on a lengthy hiatus. There's no word on HOW ill she is (they just mentioned poor health) or when the series will continue. It's a shame, since it is my favorite Shounen series and my second favorite manga series (Shin Angyo Onshi being first).

Coldplay is currently one of my favorite bands and one I'd definitely love to see, along with Foo Fighters (though I'd prefer Coldplay over them) and Rise Against (definitely my favorite band and the one I'd love to see most. I love Tim McIlrath).

I think people from anywhere in the US are not that bright (we did vote Bush into office twice, after all).

    Santa sucks, btw.

What kind of things do you write, Basher? I'm torn between something horror-esque or high-fantasy. My problem with most high-fantasy writing is the authors try to be too over-abundant on adjectives and totally abuse the thesaurus which is why I usually lean toward "young adult" high-fantasy (like one of my favorite series I'm reading right now, The Noble Dead Saga. On book five of the first series, Rebel Fay. THen need to read the last one, Child of a Dead God, and in January the first book of the second series comes out, In Shade & Shadow).

Matt, asking what genre I write is asking how many snowflakes fall in my hometown. 1/2 year of winter. Okay I am not that bad.

I write a mixed of almost everything except historical and mystery. I am focusing on a psychological thriller right now. I have two others ready to go behind that. One is a cross between high/contemporary fantasy and the other is contemporary fantasy and horror. I have the habit of blending different genres together. I don't like to be limited on anything. I hate being "predictable" also. Of course any romance I write turns into tragedy. Oops. And its all turns into the adult category. Murdering family member or attempting suicide isn't YA material.

I am glad that I am not the only one who picks up "young-adult" fiction. Never read that series. I picked up Vampirates by Justin Somper. I also check out the "child-fiction."

Santa is evil. He has minions.

My son and I are working on a childrens book this xmas break called Topping Santa.

I forgot... I also want to see INcubus in concert. Forgot how much I loved their "A Crow Left Of The Murder" album. <3

And I want to read your and your son's book when you're done, Basher. Sounds like quite a read.

Definitely give the Noble Dead Saga a shot, it's pretty good. First book is Dhampir then Thief of Lives, Sister of the Dead, Traitor to the Blood, Rebel Fay and Child of a Dead God.

It deals with the two main character, Magiere (a dhampir) and Leesil (a half-elf) and it starts with them pretending to be vampire hunters (Leesil pretends to be a vampire and Magiere pretends to kill him - no real spoilers since this is all explained in the first chapter of the first book) to make money and they eventually have to become real vampire hunters. After the second book though, it deals more with Magiere and Leesil both trying to find out about their heritage (Magiere finding out why she was "made" and Leesil trying to find his parents). And the other characters are very interesting (one of the side characters, Wynn, is the main character of the new/second series).

I'll have to check out Nobel Dead Saga. A break is coming up. xD

So Matt have you wrote anything lately? Name? About?

Sadly, I have not written a thing lately. But the past few weeks, been really TRYING to focus and find out like... what I want to write. I did do some silly fanfics a few months back but only one survived and it's trash. Still not a hundred percent sure exactly WHAT I want to write.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Noble Dead Saga. Picked up the first book on a suggestion from a friend and wasn't expecting too much, but I really, really enjoyed it.

Fanfics are fun. I go over board though, opps. Hehe. And in the end mine all look like trash to me.

My problem lies with to many ideas. It might sound good but when there is to many possible books to write. It isn't fun. Especially when you have laid out all this ground work.

Even you need any help Matt let me know.

I definitely have so many different ideas and the big problem is they are too many DIFFERENT ideas. Present-day horror doesn't go with medieval-high-fantasy and such.

Thanks for the offer, Bash (what IS your name anyway? XD I Feel bad forgetting but it feels awkward calling you that when you call me Matt). I'd like to read some of your stuff if you have anything laying around.

Vanessa called her by her real name once and i regret that i forgot as well. i think my name is so easy to keep up with because it's so plain. "Tiffany". Agh. Everyone should share their real names at some point in time on this thread if not on that other, i think there is another some where around here.

I thought Carrie [the erm you know, movie girl] was very very appealing. I really like that name, however it is spelt.
