Recreation 100 years old, and still loved.

Teddy Bears,
as of this year, TeddyBears have been around for 100 years.
Personaly, I think that's pretty amazing...

 

Yes it's weird how President Theodore Roosevelt's nick name is stamped into every cuddly plush bear we see. Just because he decided not to shoot a little bear, they dubbed all plush bear dolls as teddy bears from now on.

And this the same guy who crazily took his band of Rough Riders (Which shouldn't be called that because the fact was, only T. Roosevelt had a horse) wearing their blue handkerchief with white polkadots, up to a hill which was suicide

and dug a f*cking hole right through Panama just so American ships could go through.

Weird.... Now imaging if it was Abraham Lincoln was the one who saved the bear, would they be dubbed Abraham Bear, or bear of god? or even George Washington, Georgie Bear... or "GQ" but I'm rambling on about this... I need a care bear hug.....

Teddy bears, are so cool. Once me and a bunch of my friends went shopping for a birthday present for a friend. And we got a really big bear about 3 ft tall. And stuffed it's clothes (it had tons of pockets) with braclets, nail polish, certificites, and lip gloss, and alot of cool stuff. She loved it. Long live Teddy bears!!!
