Heh, it's more than a week late, but...better late, right? I don't update much anyway, and I think I need to put something down here.

Anyway, went snowboarding on the fifth of February with a few friends. Few being the key word. There was only 5 of us, all said and done, in our group that day.

We went to Mt. High, the closest area in SoCal that has skiiable slopes.

While it wasn't the best, it was pretty fun. Snow was "decent", meaning icy, but had a few layers on top of the ice.

However, the trip that beat that, was a few weeks before that...when I went to Big Bear! Man! That was *insane*.

Firstly, they don't let you up without chains (and me, being Californian, am not use to such things). Then, it was snowing as we were going up. The roads were iced, and people who went up without chains were clearly stuck spinning their tires about uselessly.

But, once we actually got boarding though....JEEBUS! New snow every time you go up the lift. Moderately empty, since we went during the week. Most runs were open...and it was snowing as we boarded.

By comparison, there was no clouds in sight this past week. It was overcrowded, and I landed a nice butt-plant and going half down a steep edge. However, I had real fun at this particular trip too!
