Ok i can see how this could possibly go in the debate forum but we'll see...

So i was watching TV and i saw a preview for this...and i just had to laugh....and then shake my head in disgust....50 cent has a new video game coming out where he runs around the streets shooting people...i think this is possibly one of the dumbest things i have ever seen...

Which is why Grand Theft Auto doesn't do well at all.

The game actually looks good from the screenshots. I don't condone gang violence, but the games like that *are* fun. I mean, who didn't have fun beating Grannies with a baseball bat?

Or pokemon where you're capturing animals and using them to further your own "skill"?

Or Halo where you shoot random people?

Or Doom where you shoot random people?

Or Half Life where you shoot random people?

Or Final Fantasy where you kill random animals/people/creatures?

Or Ninja Gaiden where you kill random people?

Or Metal Gear Solid where you kill random people? And they have feelings too! Look at Johnny!

Or Soul Calibur, where you beat on people with fatally blunt and sharp instruments?

Video game violence. It's a thing of the "ALL THE TIME". Get over it.

    *raises hand*

Although I'm probably a rare exception. I hate the idea of random violence even in video games. Though I'll sometimes stray from that, the amount of realism in GTA and similar games just... ugh.

Which means this probably isn't a game for me. I'll just go back to my strategy games. Ahh, Der Langrisser, Front Mission... :')

Wow. 50 Cent is going mainstream. A movie, and a game...

...didn't he wanted to be the "underground" hiphopper?

    Anyhow, I will not pick this up, since I have basically have no time for games ;_;

The way I see it, 50 Cent's ingenius for doing it.

He's riding out all his fame now, so he can make as much money as possible. Great thinking.

He's even sponsoring VitaWater. Or whatever. And has his own shoe. And has his own DVD videos. Great marketing of his fame.

HATE the guy. But great idea.

anyone that cares, date got moved to yesterday on release. i personally, can't wait for these to go away, and 50 to die away like so many bands before him. remember, way back, vanilla ice used to be the big thing. look at him now, with a straight face. >.>
