but I got that from the Bebop anime guide. Volume 1, page 77

"The bounty for catching a criminal is paid through electronic money. (By the way, 1 woolong in the Bebop world is roughly equivalent to 1 present-day Japanese yen.)"

then again, think of what you can buy with 100 thousand dollars.

 

though you have to look at it in the future.. instead of cars you have space ships.. so they would cost like 1 million for something cheap i figure. I mean yeah 100 thousand today is a lot.. but will it be in the future.. But none the Less WOOLOnGS rule..

so then the two woolnogs went to the woolong and they went on the woolong to see the woolong...and after that they saw a woolong so they went up to it anda they pet the woolong, but then the woolong got angry and started to chase the other woolongs...they ran and soon got to the woolongs woolong where they wre safe...yeah for the woolongs and escaping the woolong! ^_^

You know what I just noticed, the currency symbol for the woolong is identical to the Korean currency symbol which is the Won. It would be hilarious if Korea decided to change the currency from wons to woolongs.
