Is it possible to make a game that runs on an SNES Emulator?I want to make a couple anime-based games. Is there any program that I can get to make a game from scratch that is detailed and runs successfully?I'm not going to sell it or anything,so it won't infringe on any copyrights.I probably couldn't sell it if I wanted to.I'm not the most computer savvy person.I really want to make a Cowboy Bebop and Big O game. Please help.

Possible, yes. On the usability level you're thinking, maybe not.

Homebrew ROMs are certainly possible, as there exist a good number of them out there (sometimes labeled as simply "Legal ROMs"). But these are done by those who either understanding the workings of the SNES, or via a Hex Editor to modify existing ROMs (which is how translation patches come about). Hex Editing can be a painfully slow process - it takes a good while to find what you desire to change, and because a bad ROM image can cause crashes, if you don't watch things, you can mess up.

Programs to create from scratch? Not that I know of. You'd be better off finding a PC "game-maker" or actually coding in a real programming language...

I do know a fantastic Super Mario World editor, however. It has a bit of a learning curve, and a few limitations - but if you were ambitious you could replace the entirety of the graphics, build new maps and levels (unsure of music), and end up with a Big O or Bebop themed game....

    It's called Lunar Magic.
