Art A bit of my art.

This is just a very basic male head, done with non-photo blue, graphite, a brush pen (my last time doing the whole head with it), then colored in ps. (My first time coloring, too.)

I've been attempting manga for a week or two, how do you think it looks?

I'll upload some more to this thread as a learn more complex poses

A female head. Btw, these are meant to have no expression whatsoever.

Any suggestions?

just be careful you're not making the jawline too pointed - the female's jaw could do some serious damage!

Thanks I'm gonna format my HD in a little while, so I'll draw a couple new faces (with hair! :anime: ) while I'm waiting.

no no no no no, first you learn to draw, then you lern to paint. thats the way things work, dont rush it

Here's some of my first stuff, this was done on the first day I started, with pencil, calligraphy pens on sketch paper.

BTW Haruhara was drawn straight from the manga, the second one I think...I hope there's not a restriction against that. Naota was drawn from the anime.

I think I'm much much better at drawing things I can see.

Here's some new work. Simple pencil drawings/sketches of head-on (because I can't do any others yet). I'm working on expressions and hair right now.

EDIT: New art I did a few minutes ago, it's a profile of a male done with blue, graphite, and india ink with a school pen. I think it turned out pretty well, I'm not sure about the eye though...

EDIT2: More! Finally a decent 3/4 view! I think the ear is a little small and the hair going behind the ear is in the wrong place, other than that I like it.
