Anime a confusing dilema

hey ya know were yugi then go to school domino high. and stuff well on the first episode kaibas there and we all know kaiba is a supper smartypantsand own kaiba corp right so why is kaiba at high school (plus he looks taller too)

and yugi how old is he and is he even in high school. he looks like he would be in 4th grade and all the others like Jonouchi. honda, and anzu are taller than hime and i wouldnt say that tristan is the BRIGHTEST crayon in the box of 5000 crayons.

 

I don't know that this would really be classified as a dilemma, but...anyway.

Kaiba has to go to high school because, no matter how smart he is, there's the little mandatory education thing going on. Yugi is in 9th or 10th grade, so as long as he hasn't skipped grades he'd be about 14 or 15 years old. He's probably just short for his age (some people are like that).

Tristan seems fairly average in intelligence to me. He just doesn't seem to apply himself as much as other students do, so he doesn't do as well in his classes. This also happens.
