Art A crappy doodle.

Well today in a lecture I got bored... ended up doodling...

Im not too proud of my poor art skills, and feel bad bout it since my mom is an artist...

However after seeing this I think you'll see why I dont want to draw any sort of webcomic.

For some reason the scanner has a tendency to zoom as well so you'll see some weird smudges or something... the real thing looks quite a bit neater.

It doesn't get much better than this, folks.

Edit: I also scanned it slightly diagonally. The real one is straight. Again, this highlights my art idiocy. :shy3:

no im kidding....no one is perfect. that doodle there is better than some grown adults. looks ok to me. keep at it. practice makes perfect.

your probally one of those with misplaced art skills. one day youll doodle or just pick up a pen or pencil and this great art dead will just appear..........ya never know.

 

Don't feel bad I too suck at drawing but I'm taking a class to do better at it. I write sooooooooooo much better than I draw. Just keep at it a you'll do better.

Heh, another big thing for me is drawing womanly curves... I almost get nervous doing them. Too little and they look like a little boy, too much and I look like a pervert. As someone who can't draw too well, it's hard to strike that perfect balance.

 

Well, Scott your writing is probably a lot better than your drawings. But keep at it and I'm sure that you will be able to increase your skillz... and look at some other anime drawings and practice just using the style from those until you develop your own style. I really need to do the same myself too ><

 

Okapaatama!!! How cute, I like the hair it reminds me of Moru-chan (a charicter from a manga/anime I used to like). But souldn't the picture be in the art/design section?:sweat:
