Art A my the only one that uses flash here?

I know you'll say flash suckz and stuff like that...
i like photoshop i really do... it's just it's to complicated for me.
the thing i like to do is use my $7 mechanic 0.7 pencil and draw something, scan-it then trace it as good as my eye can.
Of course i always goof of sometimes (i forgot to do bloodberry's rope in my last post)
What's you're process of creating CG?

 

Some people use the Photoshop method the same way you do. I don't see how that gets complicated. You trace lines, and fill. Same thing in Photoshop. I've been working on a CG project, but I deleted it since I wasn't at all happy about the results. I'll probably try to do one up again, so I'll tell you how I did it then -- in greater detail.

Suffice it to say, I take a second layer, then use the pen tool or line tool to outline the drawing. Then, when I'm done, I simply erase the original sketch, touch up the computer-lined one...then fill in colors as necessary. I've never gotten past the basic fill colors...I mean, I *have*...but I deleted it. And I doubt nobody here would want to see yours truly as a chibi-fied Ninja Kame.
