Ok. I got pretty much every thing in this show. At least I think I do. But then, knives calls Vash and himself a plant? Now can somebody please explain this to me?

 

I think he ment an electricale (I can't spell) plant. Cause when Vash fixed the generater thingie in that town he was like talking to it and stuff. Along with other weird things that he does.

 

if you saw the episode Rem Saverem it should have explained a lot..or i forgot a lot lol

I remember seeing an episode where Vash and Knives were just kids, when they were still hangin' with Rem and the'ol gang.

 

that episode WAS rem saverem....

 

I still dont get it then.

vash and knives are genetically altered plants (powerplants) that are combined with human traits, superhuman abilities, and are also extremely intelligent. rem created them so that she can "turn a habitable a planet into a paradise" because earth and its resources have all been exhausted and the planet can no longer support people. that is why on episode 17 (Rem Saverem), rem and her crew was on a mission looking for a habitable planet and also told the young vash that their ship is merely a "seed" designed to propagate the human race into perpetuity. so vash and knives will be basically their powerplant to use them as their lifesource and start a new life on a new planet.

throughout the episodes you'll see these massive "plants" strewn throughout the desert planet that humans use as part of their lifesource.

which also explains on episode 22 (Out Of Time) where vash and wolfwood was fighting the two gung-ho guns, there was the scene where vash was trying to save the damaged powerplant by communicating with the living organism inside the plant. and also on episode six (Lost July), elizabeth tried to destroy the city's powerplant to kill vash but failed due to vash having the ability of controlling/communicating with the plant. knives also has the same ability as well where he showed on the final episode.

He's a plant alright. That's all I remember hearing. Something about him being a plant that can take human for and he's really old too so he can survive a long time and stay looking young. Lucky Vash, poor Merle.
