Hate me please

Some where over the rainbow, that’s where there are no blue skies for me
Here in this land of red I lead my whirlwind life from which my sorrow spins.
Ever since the young oak began to grow he had no choice as to who he would be.
Toss the coin, roll the dice, spin that fortune will, the opposition has all the wins.
In the end it doesn’t matter, I’m below par, substandard, just the sh** beneath you.
Remind me how stupid I am for believing in happiness and good will towards all men,
For believing that others cared and that you’d be there for me when ever I am blue.
Tell me please why you despise me such and for you I will go away then.





Pass her by

There is no fire in my soul; the world squelched it long ago.
Pushed amongst the hustle bustle, a fish drowned in the flow.
Never question things; they always want something more filling.
In a time long ago I lost my heart, so there is none for stealing.
The bittersweet taste of my life is almost too much to bear
For the wandering passer-by with no time for him to care.
I stay here lost in my memories of the many sad days long past,
And sit here consuming all of my cloven dreams hoping they will last.
