Anime A question that should be answered

    My question is: If you could produce an anime what will the story be about?
    Tell me about ur story, characters, antagonist in the form of a human, nature or a greater force .. its ur choice

    I'm surprised this's been left unanswered for so long!

    My anime series would be about my character "Donosansama Kunchan"...It's basically an action/humour story about a ronin in a semi-modern Japan. Dono's highly skilled in various forms of hand-to-hand combat, but his foes rarely take him seriously (partially cause he doesn't look at all meancing, and partially because he has the stupidest Japanese name in history - thanks to his parents "Hai-Hai" and "Konnichi"...). The series follows his attempts to protect the innocent (and try to pick up women on the side - with no luck). Eventually he stumbles into a national plot, and takes it upon himself to stop it...Did I mention he has a fighting style with chopsticks?

    I know..... [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] i beleive that no one in here is creative and imaginative as us [​IMG]to create their own "manga"
    and by the way.....good story

    So does Dono still battle cloned archaeologists and Mystical Ninja starring Goemon lackeys? That'd be an interesting OVA, don't you think?
    Anyway, I'd create my own manga in a second if it weren't for one little problem:
    I CAN'T DRAW WORTH THE PENCILS I'D USE!!!!!!
    As for a good idea for an anime, here's my idea:
    The main hero is an amateur rock musician, the front man of a band with dreams of being famous throughout the world. He falls in love with the beautiful singer from a rival band, and the other members of each band try their hardest to keep the two lovers apart. The main villains are the lead guitarist from the other band, who wants his band's singer for himself, and a record producer who will fulfill the dreams of both bands by giving them each major recording contracts, if the beautiful singer will be his wife.
    Anyway, the climax would be when the evil guitarist and the hero have a musical duel on stage as the opening act for a huge rock band at one of those outdoor concert festivals that we see everywhere these days, but in the meantime, the record producer is about to marry the object of his affection. He hears the passionate playing of the men on stage, and he realizes that the hero is the one who truly loves the singer. The evil guitarist loses the song-duel, and a happy ending is achieved when the two bands join up and get a record contract, becoming world-class superstars.
    Kinda like my favourite play, but with a happy ending. I guess classic stories never die ...

    1) I realized after posting why this subject was let alone...there is almost an identical thread buried on page 2 of this forum (even Zanshi's idea is there - glad he sticks to the gun on his ideas [​IMG])

    2) Do we ever get to see any of this preliminary manga of yours?

    You know, I thought my post sounded familiar.
    By the way, I second the Almighty Baka's notion on your manga. That sounds a lot cooler than the Marvel Comics trash I've had shoved down my throat over the years.
