Art a rose for a rose

A rose, by any other name, would still smell as sweet.

i think thats very good. But is there a ribbon tied around it?

 

that was so nice looking i decided to colour it, hope u don't mind. I haven't used photoshop for ages so its not anything fancy, but..yeah well... figure out yerself.

 

I like the head - just needs cleaning up a bit and it'd be great

It sorta looks like you've done what i do often when drawing still life - your perspective seems to have zoomed in whilst you were drawing it. Dunno, it just looks like the petals of the rose get progressively bigger top to bottom, making the top look a bit too small, and same goes for the stem - it looks overall too thick for a red rose (presuming it was a red'n)

But its very nicely done. I wish i still had the patience to draw still sometimes! I think my art teacher destroyed my love for that some time back

Thats really wicked I like the color version and I agree combination = good what else an you draw?
