A Super Saiyan's Evolution

    Has anyone noticed besides me that whenever a Saiyan reaches a new level they seem to step back in the evolutinary ladder? Look at level 3 and 4 Goku.
    He goes from caveman to half monkey.

    Interesting that you brought that up.. It does seem that when they transform their form becomes more basic. Even when they see the moon they turn into a huge ape and they can not control themselves(well, most of them anyways).

    are you sure? I mean its just level 4, right? the other guys just get longer hair and maybe a bit shorter if anything.. I didn't see much de-evolution there. anyways they are monkey-type people. it's not de-evolution for them.

    now, if Bulma and Chi-Chi get angry and turn into baboons, no.. that's something else..

    If you look at Level 3 Goku, I'm pretty sure you can get a picture, You will see his skull or head looks like that of a cave man.

    On the human evolutionary scale, yes, it's "backwards" (though in evolution there isn't actually "forward" or "backward"). But for all we know, Saiyans evolved differently.

    thats true, they might just evolve differntly. But still it looks very funny. Yet, saiyans aren't considered very "smart" either.
