    Hi to Everybody!

When I knew about “Nasca Fantasy” I wasn’t interested on it because the main
musician was Kodo ( a group unknown for me ) and Tomita had a second place.
Looking for music in Internet I found a short segment of “Song of the
    Universe” and I liked it.

Six months ago I got this disk and I think it is very good, specially
“Gigantic Geometric Patterns” and “Song of the Universe”. Is true that the
style in this album is very different, but I think the tracks composed by
    Tomita are good.

There are some very slow parts so maybe the second half is hard, but
listening it while you are resting and without listen the three first tracks
    you can appreciate the style.

    Best regards,

    David Garcia

It's funny how things like that happen. I had a similar reaction to Tomita's
"Planets" when it first came out. I actually threw the LP in the trash after
playing it the first time! Luckily, I decided to give it a second chance,
    and
now I consider it his greatest synthesizer album. I think the problem was
that I also had specific expectations before I listened to it, like you
    said.
(Or maybe I was just in a bad mood, having played Patrick Gleeson's
    "Planets"
right beforehand. I gave that one a second chance, too, and I think it ended
up in little tiny pieces. Holst's estate should have sued *his* record
    company instead.)

Nasca Fantasy is, to me, another great album, albeit totally different. Of
course, it helps that I like Kodo--they are absolutely fantastic to see in
concert, by the way--but Tomita's contribution sends this one far above
Kodo's other albums. I love to turn it up and just let the sound wash over
    me. :)
