Summary
Believe it or not, witches are real. They're everywhere, the people you know, meet and see every day. Any of them can be a witch, with powers ranging from controlling microwave signatures to stealing life-force from one target and putting it into another. Though, these people are dangerous, as their powers take hold of them and soon corrupt them into a life of spiraling evil.

This is where Solomon comes into play. Solomon is a secret organization developed to dispose of these threats, however the Japanese branch of Solomon, known as the STN-J, has a different way of operating in the disposal of witches. Instead they use a mysterious plasma-like substance called "orbo" to nullify the powers of witches and subdue them, where they are taken to "the Factory" for experimentation.

Throughout the series we meet a myriad of different characters ranging from hunters to cafe owners to lawyers. The series follows Robin Sena, a fifteen year-old orphan from Italy, a Class A Witch Hunter, and a Craft-User capable of pyrokinesis; the ability to create and manipulate fire. She joins the STN-J faction of Solomon as a replacement of a recently lost member named Kate, where she meets the other main characters. Amon, a mysterious and chillingly dark and quiet hunter. Haruto Sakaki, the over-zealous rookie. Yurika Dojima, the ditzy blonde. Miho Karasuma, the responsible older woman and psychic. And Michael Lee, STN-J's "professional" hacker and computers expert. Under the orders of Takuma Zaizen, the administrator of the STN-J, these five work together to hunt and capture the witches of Japan alive. Though as the series goes on, secrets unravel and reveal a conspiracy that might run even as deep as the Factory or Solomon itself.

i love witch hunter robin...its one of those see it once and immediatly get hooked in for life.

 

I started watching WHR in february when it first came out, first I was realy angry for making it have inuyasha to be put back half an hour, but after I saw the first episode I didnt care since it was realy great. WHR is different from most animes since it has a darker story plot, but thats what I love it for since its a change from most other anime. Who doesnt love withches anyways?

 

Really good show.

I love that show. It had some good twists in it, and the story never reached a down point. The animation was top notch, and the music was cool as well.

Witches are awesome, too bad people hated them though. It was probably because of their fear for them. A power stronger then man, that would scare a lot of people because THEY want to be superior.

That's just what I think.

Great storyline though. Loved it.

I love Witch Hunter Robin. That is one of my favorite shows. If there are reruns of it on Adult Swim I will so be watching it.
