Activity ...

It's a shame that this forum isn't more active. I see so many BOTP, Gatchaman, and G-Force sites on the WWW, that I figured a place like this would be booming with activity. Oh well, it isn't like I remember too much specifically about episodes or characters ... since I have not seen it since the early 80's when it was being shown on Philadelphia Channel 17 back in 1981/1982.

Perhaps with the re-release of the videos in the USA it will begin to spark some interest in the old series again. I know Sandy Frank messed them up badly, but they are still cool. It's too bad I don't understand Japanese, or I would buy every episode from Japan. If only Japan had made an English subtitle option in their DVD-ROM's, they would be making a killing from us Americans & Canadians!

I gave this some thought, and I think I know why the Japanese didn't put English subtitles on their DVD-ROM's. The fact is that DVD's are region coded, and they would not work on American & Canadian DVD players anyhow. So why waste the manpower, and effort when it can't be viewed here. At least not legally.
