RPG Archives ad20 - Dead before it's begun....?

    Dead before it's begun....?

    Hmm, I almost look to be playing this one by myself...Just looking for some reasoning behind why this one's dead.

    Did I leave out too much background info?
    Is it not a very exciting or appealing scenario?
    Are the full Pen n' Paper rules too much to handle for "casual board gamers"?
    Is it because I'm a scary guy? :eek:
    Too many other RPGs going on at the moment?

    If you've honestly thought of joining at one point and were deterred by any reason, let me know now so I don't draw my own conclusions (I draw pretty raggedy)...

    I honestly thought of joining at one point, but I didn't because of the following:

    1) I am WAY busy as it is;

    2) While seeming like IMMENSE fun (I love Guardians of Order even when they had only the Tri-Stat system), it also seemed like something rather time-consuming, and, well, refer to reason 1;

    and 3) I was already in a few other RPGs. Even now I'm going to have to drop another RPG, what with this new big project thing and the two journal RPGs I'm in. o_O;

    So you see, I think maybe everyone's busy? Don't draw conclusions. It's not you, Mattsu-san. We love you! ^_^ *hug*

    I was making a character, too. ^_^ But then, I decided that it does take a lot of time, which I don't have at all. I plan to join a little later, when I get everything down at school and all.

    Dude! I thought this game was actually running already! Since I guess it's not, how many players do you need? If that's all the problem is, I'll draw up a character tonight!

    Looking for four good players minimum, so it is of course accepting new joinees. So far, I've received two character submissions, but I'm not too sure if DeathSociety is still planning on playing...

    Do I count as a "good player"? You've GM'ed me before. I'm not going to make a character if I'm going to be the only player, though.

    I may join, but the character creation is quite lengthy. It might be a while. I am definitely interested, though.

    Okay, it took me all night, but I made a character! I just have to write out a background and all that ... This character's fun, but I couldn't pull off the one I wanted to. Anyway, he's still good.
    Just tell me what to do with the character when it's finished.

    Just start a new topic when you have a character and plop their sheet there. Any adjustments needed will be made in that topic before porting over to the actual profiles sticky.

    Baph: Take all the time you need. Doesn't look like this one's starting any time soon, for now...
