Anime Adult Swim

What show do you want adult swim to air?

Which show on adult swim do you most want to come on that has never been aired in America before?

 

I would like to The Record of the Lodoss War or any of the Harlock stuff those are some of the things that i want to see on tv but don't want to buy

 

I'd want to see some NARUTO and maybe some FLCL. Some new anime would be cool also, doesn't matter if it's dubbed or subbed as long as it's cool.

 

I think that they should put Hellsing or RahXePhon on Adult Swim. But they dub it. So, I wouldn't like it too much.

Just wondering, does anyone know if the Anime Channel dub or sub?

All of you are saying stuff that is either done by ADV (never will be on CN) already on TV (Hellsing is StarzEncore and FlCl is already owned by CN) and unliscenced stuff.

 

I would like to see all the Gundam shows I haven't seen yet.Including:

Zeta Gundam(should appear on CN soon)
ZZ Gundam
Turn A Gundam
Gundam SEED
After War Gundam X
Gundam F91

Also,I would like to see the Gungrave anime because I loved the game and the cutscenes were superb.And also,perhaps,the Ninja Scroll TV series.

 

Blue Crow you could rejoice over this but it will be airing on Saturdays starting April 17th but I doubt the Zeta will be aired since they never finished airing First Gundam

 

I, personally, think they need to bring in Heat Guy J and Chobits.

 

Heat Guy J is airing weekends on MTV2.

I would like to see Chobits. Always wanted too.

You're right, anything aired on a mainstream network will be edited, which is why I'd honestly not like to see a series on CN if I can get it some other way. Pokemon amazed me with that... I guess people were too busy calling the little creatures Satanic to worry about a cross-dressing, flambouyant, essentially flaming-gay villain. *chuckles* Although, of course, they DID cut the scenes of him in a bathing suit with inflatable breasts.

Really though...I wouldn't be surprised if Blue Gender was a bit edited.

They've already proven that they'll edit even minor things like a little gay humor (no, not jokes at the expense of homosexuals, but humor involving a man hitting on another man - from Outlaw Star, I think), despite pitching their shows to an older audience. They also cut a scene from Inu Yasha where Shippo was naked (a bath scene).

However, not everything aired in the US is edited. When I lived in the Bay Area near San Francisco, there was a local channel, KTEH, that ran subtitled, unedited anime on Sunday nights. (Among the shows they aired were Evangelion, Lum, Dirty Pair: Flash, Ruin Explorers, etc., all uncut.) More networks should follow that example.

 

A show on Adult Swim that I would like to see include:
Ranma 1/2 (probably wont happen)
Fushigi Yuugi

and that is all I can think of.

It all depends on how crappy they edit it.

I'd have to say some where along the area of Chobits (I doubt it though) of Fushigi Yuugi
Maybe Record of Lodoss War. But they had that one in the net at there web site for a few months, so I doubt they'de re-air it, just to show it in better quality. But, what I would really like to see are those movies they used to play. But, knowing me, I'de probably beg them to play final fantasy flicks then, eh? :sweat:

 

I would like them to finish the last season of Sailor Moon. WHY wont they show the 5th season. Can someone please tell me, i'd like to know. :anger2:

 

Probably due to the guys who turn into leather-wearing women (I don't remember what the trio is called, sorry). That, and the fact that one of the guys has a crush on Sailor Moon and she seems to kind of like him back. Censors really don't seem to like gender-switching characters. Corruption of the youth and all that. :anger2:

As for a series I want to see on Adult Swim, I would like to see Berserk. I heard the Scifi Channel thought about running it, but decided against it, so maybe there's hope. Hey, I can dream, can't I? If not that, then maybe the Vampire Princess Miyu tv series. That would be awesome. :catgirl:
