Neon Genesis Evangelion After NGE?

Hello, sorry if this was asked before, but I'm to tired to look through threads.

I'm going to be getting the NGE box set and was wondering if I should also get Death & Rebirth & The End of Evangelion?

I'm sure the people at this board have seen them and could tell me what they think. -Thanks

yeah, after you finish the series you should definately get the movies. these movies are a alternate ending the the series and conclusively complete the series in every way possible. it also answers all the questions present during the series. if you watched the series though before watching the movies i dont think it would be necessary to get death and rebirth. because on it it has a sum up episode of all the episodes and the first part of end of evangelion. so if ya wanna save munny er sumthing just get end of eva. thats all you need bacially.
