Debate Aggressive elderly?

    Grandma lived through the Great Depression and to be honest she seems fine these days. The most "aggressive" thing she does is smoke cigarettes. In fact the only way any of my grandparents were ever aggressive is when Grandpa got alcohol, and even that eventually left him (but then he got Alzheimers, so...)

    I read that article the other day...

    The coffee temperature was much higher than tolerable by humans. It could cause third degree burns or something.

    Anyway, I think that elders agression has to relate to society. An old man who constantly has to struggle with people who don't give a damn about elders would obviously become much more agressive than in a society where elders are respected and everything.

    When I was young, about 6 or 7 yo, whenever I behaved badly, I always was told: "Respect the people older than you", or something. But then again, I live in Mexico, and in those times, mexican society was very different from the american society today.

    Also, we'd have to notice that the family planification programs lead to the average population age increasing. So that could be a factor, too.
