I must admit that I love to buy lipstick that I most likely would never wear in public. Blood red and dark purple aren't very good idea if you're white as I am, unless you want to look dead(I guess some do), but I already have enough problems with that because my hands are always ice cold(fun for scaring people, though). I bought some of them because they were flavored, and I usually have other people buy my makeup for me. If I do wear make up it is usually a little coverup, eyeliner, light eyeshadow, and lip gloss. I'd very rarely wear makeup to school mainly for the fact that everyone has to point it out to me. "Hey! You have make up on!" Well, umm...yes I know...I put it on, and that was from a teacher.

    Mimicking nature?

Did you know that make up was originally designed to mimic the *natural* responses of a female in heat?

    Blushing,
    red lips,

you know, those things which meant that the woman is aroused and ready for the *hu-hum*.

So whenever you wear make up, you're not just saying "hey, i'm pretty". But rather "hey, let's make out".

Heh, don't ask me. Ask the guys' hormones.

Yeah. And in heat, their eye-lashes look longer, and they grow much thicker as if they were bloody lycanthropes, they get this sickly shade of violet growing over the outside of their eyelids, and then, oh God, when the glitter just pops up out of nowhere and their lips suddenly become as glossy as a glazed donut... mm-mm-mmm.

Of course, I'm being sarcastic... for some reason people have a hard time telling when I am.

But... really folks... am I the only man that isn't attracted to that kind of stuff? x_x I mean, really... I don't know, I guess it's just a foreign concept to me, there's really nothing attractive about it. o_O

Now... if a GUY wore bright red lipstick, blush, thick violet eyeliner, mascara, glitter and lipgloss... mm-mm-mmm.

... Not quite sure if I was being sarcastic there or not.

lol :sweat2: . I don't wear any make up myself because I have seen just how horribly wrong it can go and, well...I'm lazy. My mother won't leave the house without her face fully painted, which is a pain in the arse if you're in a rush. I know people at school who always wear make up, the most horrible orangey oompa loompaish foundation....and I seem to remember an eyeshadow that that was highlighter yellow *shudders*.

i used to be realy pale, but now i got sunburnt.. noooo!!! i dont put on much makeup because it looks wierd on me, like i have pale skin, and very light green eyes so if i put on very dark shades of makeup it looks odd, but sometimes i may do it just for fun. sometimes ill put on white blush, because i dont look good tanned, i look fine pale.

i really don't like make up because i think that it's a waste of time and money that i would much rather use it to buy games and stuff. i guess i think that way because i'm a tom-boy... but lots of people in my class wear make up. way too much make up. they look like the obake things. *shivers* so scary...

didn't you know? turning your entire body to a different skin shade with makeup alone is the new "In" thang. XD

    -still hates makeup herself-

It's also "in style" to strip nude and run around your local Ralphs superstore with blue body paint and a penciled on unibrow ^_^. You'll have guys starting a WWF match on your porch to take you out (to the police station, but who really cares?). If you think I'm wrong, well, go try it out for yourself!

Blah, well while I don't normally wear make-up, I'll occasionally be forced into it for performances and the like, and here's a word to the wise: If you're going to paint yourself up like a toddler, at *LEAST* use colors that are even remotely similar to your own. I can't tell you how many times I've gone down to Vons or out to dinner and seen blue eyelashes, purple lipstick, and pink eyelids dotting every corner. I'm seriously waiting for the Barnum n Bailey clown car to drive up to my school and lasso up their runaway clown posse before they unleash their cream pies, flower squirties, and horribly overdone make-up tips on an unexpecting society.

Dont worry you will when u'll get my age(19):)
I dont know why so many people dont like make up. I personally think that makeup is one of the greatest things ever invented :p But hey, everyones allowed an opinion. When applied well makeup can turn average joe into prince charming

Thats me at my best. I love to dress up weirdly and get some fun stares. but when I'm being serious i wont go all crazy, make up really depends on your occasion.

but when you go home with prince charming and when he takes of his make up because maybe he was taking a shower, then he'll probably be some feaky ugly dude who you think came to rob the house or something....

anyway, it's not like anyone cares how you look..... at least i don't care.

i don't because i don't want to look 50 when i'm 30. i also don't need it. i guess i've just never felt the need to play dress up as the only means to impress people.

Ha ha u have good imagination. But seriously, makeup cannot turn an ugly dude to a hot guy, but it can inhance your best features. Its very useful really.... Have you ever seen pictures of movie stars with and without makeup? I have... and believe me, they look way better with makeup on.
